Personal Narrative: A Day At The Disney World
"Ahh!" The sounds of joyful screams and laughter filled the air. I could feel the warmth of the sun on my face as I looked up to see the huge Disney castle in front of me. It was our first time at Disney World, and the Florida sun was strong. My mother handed me fluffy pink cotton candy, as we walked around staring in awe at all of the rides and sights. There were huge Disney characters walking around, posing, and taking pictures with children and their families. Balloons in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head were floating, dancing ocassionaly whenever a refreshing gust of wind came. It was like a dream. Never had I seen so many happy, smiling faces. Young and old, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and laughing at something. After wandering …show more content…
I helped him in and we settled as we waited for the ride to start. We had decided that we wanted to spin extra fast. We began spinning the wheel together, and the cup started spinning. The other small children watched us in awe as our tea cup began to resemble a green blurr. All of a sudden, lights turned on and the cups began moving! The dizziness hit me almost immediately. The air was filled with our laughter, the tickle in my stomach was unbearable. What once were purple, blue, pink, green, yellow tea cups were now a rainbow of color and people. And just like that, we were slowing down. My brother and I had not once let go of the wheel or stopped turning itm our knucles were yellow from our firm grips. As I took my hand off the wheel I felt it was also drenched with sweat. We stumbled out of the giant green tea cup and headed toward our mother. We must've looked ridiculous and wind-blown because she laughed as soon as she saw us. The joyous feeling I had never left me as I got older. Our trips to Florida were always what my family and I looked forward to. That day was enough to convince me that Disney World was truly the happiest place on

It was just a boring day in my hometown, a traditional, weak entrance a lot of narrative stories use to try to get the attention of the readers. This story, however, isn’t one of those traditional stories; this one involves a day that had been exciting up to that point already. The memory that resonates daily throughout my mind would have to be the time when I went to Six Flags for the first time in my life. Before I jump into my story, I should tell you my friends mess with each other a lot, almost to the point where we get into fights with each other.…

For twelve years I got to see everything she did. We went to Disneyland once! It was awesome! My favorite ride was Splash Mountain. First, we went into the boat thing. Markie was in front of us and Randall behind us. They are her brothers. We creaked up the slope and turned left. We went to the right and through a short tunnel. Small figures were everywhere, as we slowly went up a steep hill. When we got to the top water was all over the place. I had wondered why. KA-BOOM!!!!!!! We were going down the biggest hill ever! Water was getting in my hair. Markie, Lisa, and Randall were screaming at the top of their lungs. Thirty feet, twenty feet ten feet, SPLASH!!!! I got so wet, that I wouldn’t have to take bath for a month! The water was up to Lisa’s feet in the boat. It was slow for the rest of the ride, but there was a lot of chatter going on, but mom ands dad looked scared. “Want to go on It’s a small world?” asked Helen. Melvin just nodded.…

When visiting The Magic Kingdom at Disney World on the first day, there was so much to do as well as see all in one day. We got to see Disney characters, such as, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and more. We even got to eat lunch with Chip n’ Dale which was a lot of fun they did face painting, singed and danced for us. While at Disney World I ate and drank so many delightful treats such as Funnel Cakes, Hot dogs, Cotton Candy, Coke Cola, Chocolate Milkshakes and much more. As you know Disney World have plenty of rides, the ride I loved the most was Space Mountain which is an inside roller coaster in the dark I love roller coasters. We also rode on Splash Mountain and The Tower of Terror which I scared of but it ended up to be another ride I enjoyed riding. It was a heart-thrilling ride that made me a little nervous, but in the end, I enjoyed it. The laser light show was the most beautiful thing I ever seen, it was a twenty five minute show of lasers, lights, fireworks and animation and dancing waters. The show also consisted of all of the Disney characters and fifty performers participated in the show. The show is actually telling a story and of course Mickey Mouse is the person telling it with his little wand.…

My trip to Disney land. The cost of the tickets was 95.00 for two adults and one child. Anything in your imagination can’t compare to the attractions you will see. The Mickey mouse landscape made out of flowers is just inside the gate. The landscape is remarkable every where’s I looked. The first attraction I walked to was the white castle where you walk through to arrive at the horse drawn ride which is a ride around some of the attractions. I was amazed with the president’s attraction, I went into a theater and sat down to watch a robot that looked like the real president, he talked about what his achievements were during his presidency, the challanges he defeated and the changes he seen. The next attraction I visited was the house of Mickey mouse, I went inside of an actual house, sat upon furniture, I seen many items in the house and in the back of the house there is a movie theater. After that you go outside to other attractions. I was…

However, my parents can ensure anybody that Disney can turn out to be a remarkable place for adults as well as children. Although that trip was all the way back in 2008, none of us could ever forget our experiences at the roller coaster with a mysterious name “Space Mountain”. As my parents and eldest sister grew tired of the smell of sweet popcorn and them always seeming to wash the ice-cream off Bradley’s bright green shirt, they decided to change the settings. Along with Bradley, Kylie and I pleaded to go to the roller coaster, and, having no other better idea, my father finally had to give up. I thought that my mother would be proud of him. Besides, they always had talked of have never had such an experience before, and thought of having such a ride was quite interesting at least.…

Walking into Disney all you can hear is the blaring music that sounds like birds singing it. There are sparkling ribbons flowing from every direction, they have ravishing reds, brilliant blues, and outrageous pinks. Mickey Mouse stands at the front gate with a magnificent smile and waving his goofy looking hand. I ran up to give him a hug because my excitement to see him was almost terrifying. While wrapping my baby-sized arms around him, he is fuzzy and smells like an abundance of different types of candy. My dad then wisped me up on his shoulders and it felt like I was on the Eiffel Tower. From being up on top of the world, I peered ahead and saw the most radiant view ever.…

A huge Mickey’s Fun Wheel jumped out at me right when I walked into the California Park. The colorful flowers set alongside a beautiful lagoon. The clip-clop of horse drawn carriages brought people back to carefree days. And of course, I never forget the biggest reason for going to Disneyland – the rides. There was a number of eye-catching moments here- some featuring otherworldly creatures, and white knuckle thrill rides through the clear sky.…

One place I loved as a child was Disney World, in Orlando Florida. The day after school[->1] was out, my parents would take me, my sisters, and brother in law, to Florida. I can remember the excitement I felt as we loaded in the car. The trip took about ten hours. During that time, my family and I would plan our day down to the last detail. First we would ride the roller coaster and then the rocket ride. After driving for what seemed like days, we finally arrived. I remember thinking to myself how big the park was. I felt like a small fish in the ocean. Everything looked so big and so scary. First, we headed straight to the roller coaster. As we got on the coaster car and began up the steep incline, I remember thinking I was high enough to touch the clouds. This roller coaster had to be the biggest in the world! After the roller coaster, our next stop was the rocket ride. The rocket would shift back and forth, move up and down, and pivot all around. I felt like a real astronaut. After all the moving around in the rocket, Daddy decided he would take us to the arcade so our stomachs could settle down. I remember I would always try to win the big stuffed bear at the bottle toss, but it was always too hard. Soon we would be out of quarters, and Daddy would tell us it was time to leave. I can remember my sister and I begging to stay longer, but we always had to go. As we loaded in the car to head to the condo, I can remember thinking to myself that when I grew up I would bring my children to the park and let them stay as long as they wanted.…
