My trip to Disney land. The cost of the tickets was 95.00 for two adults and one child. Anything in your imagination can’t compare to the attractions you will see. The Mickey mouse landscape made out of flowers is just inside the gate. The landscape is remarkable every where’s I looked. The first attraction I walked to was the white castle where you walk through to arrive at the horse drawn ride which is a ride around some of the attractions. I was amazed with the president’s attraction, I went into a theater and sat down to watch a robot that looked like the real president, he talked about what his achievements were during his presidency, the challanges he defeated and the changes he seen. The next attraction I visited was the house of Mickey mouse, I went inside of an actual house, sat upon furniture, I seen many items in the house and in the back of the house there is a movie theater. After that you go outside to other attractions. I was …show more content…

Everyone thinks that Disney World is fun but when I was 4 I thought it was scary. All of those princess’ and scary statues scared me. But the rides were even worse. When I saw the Rockin’ Rollercoaster I freaked out. I knew that my mom would make me try a new something new like the Rockin Rollercoaster. And that's exactly what she did. In Susan Willis article "Disney World: Public Use/ Private State," she makes the claim that Disney World is too controlling by stating that, "If your idea of heaven is a place where you need only relax and wait for someone to take care of your every comfort and amusement, and where no unexpected surprises can crop and destroy your enjoyment, then Disney world is for you" (Willis 650.) Disney World provides the illusion for visitors that they have entered a picture perfect world. In this paper I will analyze Susan Willis article through evidence of control by the way in which everything is done for them, the way trash is a controlled element, and how the advancement of technology presents itself in our society. Disney World provides society with the notion of a perfect world by controlling it with theses elements and is used as a break from everyday life.…

Our family’s favorite tradition is summer vacation road trips. No doubt, our vacations turn out to be a success each and every year. Throughout my childhood and into my teenager years, we have gone from the beaches in Florida to the valleys in California. The most memorable one I could recall was our vacation to Disneyworld in Orlando, FL in 2004. I always have the notion as child that amusement park take your imagination to a new and entirely different level. On television commercials and billboard ads, it shows that Disneyworld is a destination where dreams come true and magic happen.…

Most people think of Disney World as a place for children. So, when my boys began asking to go there for our family vacation, I wasn’t very excited. I had never been there and imagined me and my husband just following the boys around the park. Boy, was I wrong! Each of us had a wonderful time and it seems that we all remember things different, even though we were all together on the same vacation. Our five different memories have apparently come from our five different senses.…

When I visited Disney world I was seven years old, attending with my grandparents. I had never been so excited in my life. We took a plane to get there, and I could practically hear all the Disney characters calling my name. The two hour trip, which seemed like ages to me, was finally over when we got off at the airport in Orlando. I was so excited I just wanted to run off immediately and see everything there was to see, which is obviously impossible. First we went to our…

The expectations of fairy tales are predictable. At least one if not both parents are dead in most Disney princess movies. Along with the fact that their lives aren’t the picturesque fantasy a royal is believed to have. Which makes why I find them so comforting odd to a lot people. The reality of this is what comforts me. A child of adoption fanaticizes over the life that they can have or should have had. The dream of a perfect family is euphoric to them. They have the thoughts of, “what if I was a long lost princess.” These thoughts are what drove me to be stable, honest and trustworthy.…

An enormous castle fit for any king or queen. The tops look as though they are scraping the sky; colors of pale pink and baby blue grace the tall pillars. A draw bridge decorates the castle. As I gaze into the background, I can see the tip of The Matterhorn, which makes me want to make a mad dash to Frontierland where my favorite Disney attraction awaits. Alas, the Pirates of the Caribbean. As we enter the ride, a scent that is memorable and everlasting overcomes my senses. It is difficult to describe; however, I would say it is a musty, sweet, and wet smell. Sounds gross right? Until you smell if for yourself you will never truly appreciate it. Moving along through each attraction, I can hear The Little Mermaid’s Under the Sea, and look up to see a gigantic crab making its way through the park with the rest of the parade. The loud music and dancing characters will make any adult feel young again. As night approaches, the crowd gathers in front of the castle for one of the greatest experiences of your life, the fireworks. I get choked up as I watch this incredible display of pyrotechnics that creates a Disney experience out of this world. The loud booms and sparkles of pure happiness shower the top of Sleeping Beauty’s…

A huge Mickey’s Fun Wheel jumped out at me right when I walked into the California Park. The colorful flowers set alongside a beautiful lagoon. The clip-clop of horse drawn carriages brought people back to carefree days. And of course, I never forget the biggest reason for going to Disneyland – the rides. There was a number of eye-catching moments here- some featuring otherworldly creatures, and white knuckle thrill rides through the clear sky.…
