Disney World Research Paper
Disney world
There is a wonderful place in Florida known as Disney world, where everyone’s dreams come true. There is a question at hand, what age is more beneficial to a person visiting Disney world? As a child or as an adult? I for one have tried both and one age stands out more than the other. It truly is the most magical place on earth. When I visited Disney world I was seven years old, attending with my grandparents. I had never been so excited in my life. We took a plane to get there, and I could practically hear all the Disney characters calling my name. The two hour trip, which seemed like ages to me, was finally over when we got off at the airport in Orlando. I was so excited I just wanted to run off immediately and see everything there was to see, which is obviously impossible. First we went to our

We drove down in separate cars from Kentucky enduring about thirteen long hours of “fun” with my immediate family. We finally arrive in animal kingdom where we are staying in one of the Disney hotels. We get to our room and get settled in when I look out on the balcony and see giraffes, and antelopes, and peacocks walking around in my back yard. It was one of my favorite parts of this trip. We then go out to wait for the bus to take us to our first kingdom, epcot. I remember immediately being here as a child and know exactly what I want to go and do and see. Now being seventeen, I take one of my cousins and we go off on our own to see what we want to experience. We go to the science museum and learn about space and evolution which has through my high school years been very beneficial to me. Having fun and learning at the same time was great. I spend the entire next day going around to all the rides and enjoying them at least two times each. I couldn’t believe how much fun I was having. After that I went to the stores and got all the things I wanted to take back home to remember this trip

Everyone thinks that Disney World is fun but when I was 4 I thought it was scary. All of those princess’ and scary statues scared me. But the rides were even worse. When I saw the Rockin’ Rollercoaster I freaked out. I knew that my mom would make me try a new something new like the Rockin Rollercoaster. And that's exactly what she did. I don’t really like trying new things but I knew that my sister and my mom would do it too and they wanted to have fun with me. Somehow she knew that I would love that ride.…

My fondest of a Disney park was a 2005 trip to Disneyworld with my wife and young daughter. During our stay we visited the parts of the park my daughter prefered at the time, which was mainly princesses and fairy tales. One of her favorite rides in the park was called “it’s a small world”, which is a boat ride consisting of models of little islands, boats, and little figures. She also loved seeing all the princesses and visiting them. Personally, I like all of the roller coasters and thrill. Overall we had an amazing stay and a pleasant experience.…

Most people think of Disney World as a place for children. So, when my boys began asking to go there for our family vacation, I wasn’t very excited. I had never been there and imagined me and my husband just following the boys around the park. Boy, was I wrong! Each of us had a wonderful time and it seems that we all remember things different, even though we were all together on the same vacation. Our five different memories have apparently come from our five different senses.…

I would like to ask the audience: When you think of a vacation in Disney World, what comes to mind? John Cloud from Time International stated it correctly when he said “You’re thinking roving packs of sunburned children who let their ice cream drip on your toes as you wait to ride Space Mountain. You're thinking overpriced hot dogs and hotel pools crammed with little kids leaving warm spots. All true, but the city has also quietly become a favored destination for adults traveling without kids”. I have been to Disney World over 30 times in my life. I have essentially grown up with Disney World so I know the best places to visit as a child and an adult. There are a variety of different exciting activities offered all within Walt Disney World. In a publication by MyPrimeTime.com, a website that offers inspiration and tips to adults, the author says that Disney World “offers adults, even without kids, so many recreation options that they can't possibly do them all in just a week… However, it's not easy to find information about [Disney World] that isn't geared for kids or families”. I am here today to show you that adults can have as much fun, if not more fun than, children at Disney World. I will begin with “Five-star Amenities”, then “Spots & Recreation”, and finally I will end with “Special Events”.…

Huge amount of visitors has also brought a huge consumption to Disney. It is said that California Disneyland has eat more than 4 million piece of hamburgers, 1.6 million pieces of hot dogs, 3.2 million copies of ice cream and 1.6 copies of popcorn each year. At the same time, these visitors produce an average of more than 30 tones of garbage per day. However, environmental management and conservation has always been an important part of Disney. Disney meticulously practice the concept of reduce, recycle and reuse at their parks an resorts. They find ways to divert waste from landfills, and continually test new initiatives to further reduce waste and facilitate recycling. Disney parks in America have increased more than 30 percent of recycle…

As a small child I was a big fan of Disney World and Disneyland. I spent several summers at each amusement park with my godparents. My parents surprised me with a special trip. We drove 6 hours to see the Neuschwanstein castle. It was very early in the morning and extremely cold. The castle is built on the top of a mountain. There were two options for getting up the mountain to see the castle, walking or by horse drawn carriage. We took the carriage in hopes that it would be slightly…

When I think of Disney World I see it as this monument that has a place in all childhood memories. These memories include a lot of happiness and most importantly, fun with the family. After all of the time that I took trips to Disney, I can still clearly see the smiling children gushing over their favorite Disney characters and the equally excited parents who had to speed walk just to keep up with them. Another memory that is evident, is that feeling of nerves a person feels when they’re about to get on a scary rollercoaster, but also that feeling of accomplishment that comes after once they’ve conquered it. Disney World represents home to me not only because of the great experiences that come with it, but because it is located in my hometown Orlando. I have to admit I do miss living there and knowing that Disney World is not too far away always gives me an excuse to visit. As a kid, I would always go on trips to Disney World and its image is a fond reminder of all those happy memories and easier…

I had been planning for the day I left for Hawaii for months and the day finally came. It actually came a lot quicker than I thought it would. I was so excited I could barely contain myself! When June 8th finally came around I jumped out of bed at 8 o’clock that morning and got ready as fast as I could. My flight didn’t leave till noon that day but I just couldn’t wait any longer! Even though we were going to Hawaii for my Mom’s work, its still a trip to Hawaii, and it was definitely one I will never forget. My grandma picked my Mom and I up from our house that day around 10:30 a.m. and dropped us off at the airport. I remember sitting at the gate waiting to board the plane to Salt Lake City, Utah feeling like I would soon be in paradise. We barely had any time to make it to our next plane in Salt Lake City, but we were practically starving to death so we stopped for some Chinese food. Every time we go to this airport we always stop through that same restaurant. Its really small and kind of like a fast food place but it’s so yummy and one of our favorites. So we ate our food and quickly made it to the next gate that would take us to Los Angeles, California. I wanted nothing more than for this flight to be over with so our next flight would be to Honolulu, Hawaii! Our flight to L.A. went by pretty quick actually. I sat by this adorable little boy on the plane, who looked to be about 8 or 9. He was just so cute. He just sat there quietly, drawing away. I couldn’t stand the thought that a 9 year old could be a better drawer than me, and he totally was. I can’t draw to save my life although I wish I could.…
