Personal Narrative: A Career As An Office Assistant

Most of my experience involves working with children or youth. In 2012, I was the Office Assistant to the Field Director of the Mitt Romney Presidential Campaign Office in my city. As an Office Assistant, I was responsible for reporting data to the Florida GOP, as well as conducting phone banking and door-to-door surveys. One of my biggest assignments was to recruit volunteers, and I asked teachers from my old high school for an opportunity to speak in their class. Their students, as well as other children from the community, decided to come on Saturdays to volunteer.
