Pediatrician
When I was younger my mother was in the nursing field. As I got older and watched my peers care for others than themselves, I then decided that I wanted my profession to be in the medical field. I hope to accomplish my goal of achieving to become a pediatrician. I also hope to learn a lot during my journey of this research paper. While exploring my interest of pediatrics, I am going to research how pediatricians interact with babies. During my research on pediatrics I will be discovering what impact this specific doctor has on the lives of many worried parents.
Pediatricians are doctors who care for children or those in their adolescent years. They treat illnesses such as strep throat, pink eye, colds and chicken pox. In addition, pediatricians help healthy children stay well. The impact a pediatrician has on the life of their patient is impeccable. After completing college, you will need to attend 4 years of Medical School and pass the MCAT (medical college admission test), (which will get you an MD or DO degree).Following this, you are a "general" doctor. Most of the time, these new doctors go on to learn a specialty in medicine, such as pediatrics. This is at least 3 more years of "Residency" training (the first year of residency was formerly called an "Internship"). In the case of pediatrics, the training of residency is 3 years. After completing these 3 years, you are now a pediatrician and are "eligible" to become "certified" in pediatrics by passing a rigorous test that deals with medical conditions related to infants and children.
