Deepa Bais (33 years) was born in Satna in Madhya Pradesh on November 4, 1978, but was raised in Mumbai in Maharashtra. She then joined Mithibai College in Mumbai for a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Later, she did her Master's degree in management studies from the esteemed NMIMS in Mumbai Deepa Bais joined ICICI in 2002 as an Assistant Manager (Band II) in Infrastructure & Management Department. An ambitious and very talented female working with ICICI Bank LTD since last 10 years, who was very focused and career oriented. Her job profile consisted of high responsibility. This was no easy task. In her career which extends to over one decade of experience, she remained strong willed and alert. Her determination to make it to the top only grew from year to year. She was always successful in accomplishing task in or before the given TAT. She was considered to be right hand of her boss and superiors. Any work given to Deepa cannot remain incomplete, perfectionist in her work. Everyone in her department would give example about her competencies. By 2007 she had already got two promotions. She had now
become Manager Band II. Deepa was selected in the talent pool, also awarded as the best performer of the year. Now it was time to get settle in life as pressure from parents & relatives so got married to a smart and handsome HR professional. New married life and busy work schedule, unable to cope up with both the responsibilities at a time. Late office hours started creating problem in her personal life. She was unable to concentrate on work and also started facing health issues consecutively. This started taking toll on her performance which led to drastic drop in her performance rating. From rating one she started dropping down and finally landed to rating four. Shocked, devastated, shattered and frustrated, she was full of emotions, unable to understand as to what was going wrong in her life. She was not even able to explain this to her husband who
