pandan leaves as cockroach repellant
1/2 cup of baking soda

1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide

1/4 cup of warm water

Optional:

3 teaspoon of glycerin

3 teaspoon of xylitol

1 cup of cold water

1 cup of hot water

1/4 cup of water
Steps
1.
1
Pour a half of a cup (110g) of baking soda into a mixing bowl. Baking soda has a natural cleansing ability and can even be found in some commercial toothpastes. It's non-toxic and will help polish your teeth. Some recipes call for table salt, in which case you should mix three parts of baking soda with one part of table salt.

Add three teaspoons (15g) of glycerin for every 1/4 cup (55g) of dry mixture. This is optional; it acts as a sweetener. An alternative is xylitol. It is a natural, sugarless sweetener that actually promotes tooth and gum health. (Note: Glycerin will coat your teeth with a layer of residue that cannot be removed easily. This layer of residue prevents enamel growth, re-mineralization and healthy teeth.)
3.
3
Add 1/4 cup (60g) of household hydrogen peroxide and one drop of peppermint oil or other essential oil. Hydrogen peroxide naturally disinfects your mouth and will also help whiten your teeth. If you don't have it around, use water. The drop of peppermint oil will leave your mouth feeling fresh. Hydrogen peroxide breaks down very quickly in the presence of UV light, so it is necessary to store the toothpaste away from sunlight. If you're not into the peppermint flavor, some alternatives are ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, fennel, ginger, and almond extract. Whatever it is, make sure it doesn't have sugar added or that it isn't strongly acidic, since acids will produce a fizzing reaction with the baking soda.
4.
4
Mix the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda until it is a paste. If you need to, mix in more hydrogen peroxide until you get the right consistency. See Warnings below.

“There are two main dental effects of drinking soda: erosion and cavities” (Anna Schaefer healthline.com). Acid forms in your mouth when the sugars you consume when drinking soda combines with bacteria according to Anne Schaefer (healthline). Too much soda consumption and poor oral hygiene can be very menacing to oral health. So what can be done to prevent this damage from happening to your teeth? The answer is simple, stop drinking soda. This however can be very difficult for some individuals, so drink soda in moderation and practice good oral hygiene. Swigging on soda throughout the course of one day can be damaging to teeth, so soda should be consumed quickly so the acids and sugars won’t have as much time to damage teeth. Rinsing with water after consuming soda, drinking soda through a straw, and avoiding drinking this sugary beverage before bedtime are all good habits to also do that can help protect teeth from…

Caries prevention is extremely important for not only kids, but adults as well. There are different ways that people can do this, but one of the easier methods is by using fluoride. Fluoride is commonly known for preventing dental caries and also helping with strengthening bone. There has always been a controversy that fluoride is extremely bad for the body and that it should not be allowed to be in public water. The purpose of this experiment was to determine if natural solutions or chemical solutions can protect the teeth from sugar better. If natural solutions did not lack the strength to effectively protect the teeth, then they would be of higher use, as they have less disadvantages, and more advantages. It was hypothesized, that when comparing natural and chemical, the chemical solutions will work better than the natural remedies, as the chemicals are more focused on protecting the teeth (in this case egg shells) from sugar (in this case cranberry juice). To test the hypothesis, eggs were kept in either a natural or chemical solution for 12 hours and then cranberry juice for 24 hours to see if the solution can protect the egg effectively.…
