Otto Frank is a nice and kind man who fought in WW1 and ran his family bank in his early years.
In the 1930’s he had already had married and had 2 daughters, Margot and Anne. During the
1940’s he had hidden in the annex above his job along with his family and 4 others from the horrors of the war and the germans. He is a
Kind man who loves his family and he hoped to keep them safe. He cares for everybody else and is a Thoughtful person. He is polite, always greeting people with manners..”My wife, Edith. Mr. and Mrs.
Van Daan ..their son Peter...my daughters, Margot and Anne.”This quote shows that he is a very formal person. And he is always trying to comfort his family and everyone else in the annex.“(Reassuringly) After six we can move

Fundamentally, the process of discovering something involves the ingredient of curiosity, to reveal the unknown, and to alter our perceptions on what we already know. “Frank Hurley: The Man Who Made History”, directed by Simon Nasht in 2004, allows the audience to develop their own opinion of this man ‘who made history’ by exposing both positive and negative views on the works and background of the determined and passionate photographer Frank Hurely. Nasht demonstrates two contrasting views labelling Hurley as an ‘artist’ and a ‘fake’, which challenges the audience based on their own personal understandings. The techniques Hurley used to develop his photographs were different to other photographers as Hurley expressed the world through a new…

Because the change was not elected, support rendered by Richard Patricof, VP of Operations, other members of management, and several employees served as a facade, a false cover for non-supportive management as in the case of Sigtek. There was one prominent supporter of Six-Sigma, John Smithers, the Engineering Service Manager and passively Andrew Cross, VP of Engineering. To complicate matters, Sigtek reputation as an autocratic management style was untrusting and non-supportive of employees and new ideas. As a finale, Telwork terminated Mr. Charles Bradley, President, and Founder of Sigtek. Mr. Richard Patricof met his destiny, promoted to General Manager of Sigtek, and in his new capacity, he demoted Andrew Cross.…

Hoffmann's The Sandman tells the story of Nathanael, a romantic poet. Throughout the story, eyes are of particular significance. In Nathanael's letters the motif of the eyes is recurrent and the motif is again highlighted in the latter part of the story, told by the narrator. In this essay, I aim to discuss the motif of the eyes in the story. I will begin with a discussion of the general significance of eyes and I will then go on to the more specific case of Nathanael's childhood nightmare, including how it influenced his adult life, finally I will discuss eyes in relation to the automaton Olimpia, whose creation was partly due to the eyes of Nathanael himself.…
