Task one is based on the meeting 1.

Talking about the new range product of Mc Donald in Australia. Explain to all attendees so that they will know their role in the campaign, and they add to the success of this new menu.

The result of this meeting is to decide the strategies and techniques that can increase the number of customers and ensuring high quality service to customers throughout Australia. New deciding how to plan, promote and coupons so that people would like to eat more.

CEO of the company, Ashish is an overview of the happy (Operations Manager Mc Donald) to describe menu Munish (Marketing Manager) will discuss how existing company resources can be used. Aarti in marketing the new menu will explain all procedures and protocols that will go out and the shops. Dennis will record minutes and saif is responsible for keeping time.

Ashish is responsible for the meeting so that all data can be shared between the team. Operations managers who are happy to be our head of operations in Australia, President Munish market will provide all marketing strategies and evidence of research. Aarti National Advisory is responsible to ensure that all compliance procedures and specific techniques and the same high standards of quality. Dennis will record all the important things that happened in the meeting, and the final act to take the palace and who is responsible for doing what. Saif is responsible to keep everyone focused on the main reason for the meeting and make sure that they do it in time.

    The Kudler Fine Foods Shoppers program will offer 3 different strategic programs to increase loyalty and gain profit from consumers. All three programs will take research and steps that starts off with the inventory manager (Kathy). Kathy along with three department managers make sure that research is done and information about profits, dollars sales and profits will be generated. This is done by checking the cashier’s slips daily and making sure the inventory about will also be checked daily. Inventory will be about products and what products should be used mostly for sales and what will be good for sales. Although the management team research for sales and profits for customers, they will also have to generate an intimate relationship with their customers. They will do this by tracking customer’s purchases and behavior of customers that they will learn from over time. Another service that this program will have is to “show customers how to prepare specialty foods”, Kudler Fine Foods (2007). Costumers will want to bring others along to this and this will bring more customers into the store. Because of this action consumers will be trained by expert chefs, local celebrities, and other food experts. By training these consumers, customers will want to come to join the party and join in with the expert chefs, and celebrities. The outcome of this event will help to invite a customer with more friends and family to come just so they can participate in this food show. Because of the time consumed the in store show, customers will spend more time in the store and this will increase overall revenue per visit, and will also increase the consistency of visits to the store.     1. Introduction The intended purpose of this report is to outline the nature of the Australian retail market, specifically the retail food sector. This report will then discuss the role of market segmentation and how it has resulted in the emergence of new retail channels available to consumers. The emergence of ALDI as a new retail channel will be the focal point of the report along with a brief overview of other new-coming organizations such as Costco. Through the use of current journal articles, books, internet sites and government publications, this report will outline the benefits of the new retail channels available to consumers, especially in regards to saving on common expenses. This report will also discuss the possible room for development and expansion for other retailers within Australia, and the ensuing implications these would have on the supermarket sector. 1.1 Background: Australian Retail Market The Australian retail market is currently categorized into certain sectors. The sector that will be discussed in this report will be the Australian retail food sector, and more specifically the supermarket subsector. Woolworths and Coles dominate this sector with 78 percent share of the market and their dominance within the sector is evident as they are contributing to 50 to 70 percent of grocery and food sales (AFGC 2011). Furthermore, the Australian Food and Grocery Council (2011 p. 13) outlines the fact that the majority shares of the two major retailers of Woolworths and Coles have also resulted in Australia’s food retail market to be “one of the most concentrated in the world”. 2. Nature of Australian consumer market The Australian consumer market is also segmented into categories. These three categories include premium, convenience and discount buyers (Armstrong et al. 2012 p. 190).
