I attended the Chamber Orchestra Concert on November 6, 2012. This was there first concert. They played three pieces during this concert. The first piece that they played was Bassoon Concerto in F Major, Op.75 written by Carl Maria von Weber. The second piece that they played was The Lark Ascending written by Ralph Williams. The last piece that they played was Symphony No. 4 in A Major, Op. 90 written by Felix Mendelssohn. I liked this piece because it was the fastest and it was the most pleasing to listen to for me. I liked the last movement of Symphony No. 4 in A Major, Op. 90 because I liked the rhythms that were being played throughout it. I also liked how the strings and woodwinds would trade of rhythms. My least favorite piece was the Lark Ascending. I didn’t really like this piece because I just felt as if it was too slow for me to listen to. It is a piece of music that I would listen to if I was really sad and depressed or if I was doing homework. It was a great piece of music but it just didn’t appeal to me like it could have to others. I would have preferred a different piece for them to play. The first piece that they played was a fun piece to listen to. It wasn’t as fun as Symphony No. 4 but it was still a good piece. They played all three of these pieces really good and I didn’t see anywhere where they could have improved. They were all in tune, had good dynamics and had good balance between all of the
