Library System is an enterprise resource planning system for a library, used to track items owned, bills paid, and patrons who have borrowed.

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
STI College Balanga is a corporate social responsibility arm of STI, Inc. The STI Foundation was established to contribute to the improvement of the country’s educational system through programs and projects that address the digital divide and promote excellence in education.

However, despite its success our school still relies on manual process when borrowing a book the following people who involve in the library are: the students (the one who will borrow the books) and the librarian who facilitates and assesses inside the library.

This Library System for STI College Balanga is to serve as one several sources to provide data for the improvement of teaching and learning. The proposed system will give the school and the student a new process for borrowing a book. All the information given by the students will be treated with utmost confidentiality.

1.2 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
1.2.1 General problem
How to develop, design and implement a Computerized Library System that will improve and give an innovative process in library of STI College Balanga. 1.3 OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

1.3.1 General Objective

To develop, design and implement a Computerized Library System that will improve and give an innovative process in library of STI College Balanga.

1.3.2 Specific Objective

1.3.2.1 To create a module that will secure all important records and the information about the registered students.

This access is intended only for the school librarian. He can view and monitor the entire transaction done by the student. The proponents will create a module that will secure the information about the company.
