Observational Learning Analysis
The form of learning I selected to discuss is observational learning. I am music producer, but I am always looking to improve my craft and myself. The key word in my last sentence is myself, I strive to improve myself musically and mentally. I like to study different genres to be versatile. Without going into too much detail there are many plugins and outboard gear like compressors that each have different characteristics and duties. Anyhow, I learn best by seeing others do something. Compression tutorials helped me understand the mathematics and science behind basic compression. I tend to be a visual learner at times. How does my musical example relate to observational learning? I watched a professional that had more knowledge than me on compression

An observational analysis was conducted to observe the effectiveness of warfarin in patients with atrial fibrillation after the patients had ischemic strokes. In the article “Real World Effectiveness of Warfarin Among Ischemic Stroke Patients with Atrial Fibrillation,” 12,552 patients were observed for one year after being admitted to the hospital for acute ischemic stroke and discharged with a diagnosis of persistent or paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. These observations were made between January 2009 and December 2011. The patients were divided into two separate groups for comparison during the study: patients taking warfarin and patients not treated with any anticoagulants. Patients that were unable to take anticoagulants were excluded…

In my opinion observation is very effective. An example of the effectiveness of observational learning. Take for instance a child in their early stages of development. A child will learn to talk and walk and even toilet train by seeing and hearing others. When a child reaches toddler stage they begin to mimic people. This is a good example of observational learning.…

Shopping malls are overcrowded place with consumers from different ethnic backgrounds visiting to shop and spent some quality time. The consumer of the mall in general consists of single to big families, teenagers and senior citizens. For one particular marketing research, I have decided to take a challenge on creating an observational study for how many consumers enter the mall with own water/soda pop bottle. General idea is not to create different gender, demographic or ethnic group while conducting this study. My observation will be brand specific on the water and soda.…

During my sophomore year of High School, I took an Anatomy and Physiology class. When we were learning about the parts of an eyeball, we got to do a lab where we dissected a sheep eyeball (not as easy or squishy as it sounds). Before the students were allowed to cut open the eye, we were instructed to watch our teacher do it first. After watching the teacher do it, I did it perfectly. The best type of learning for me is observational learning, which is what my teacher used.…

Observational learning is just as it sounds observing ones behavior and then imitating that particular behavior. There is a four step process for observational learning, attention, retention, motor reproduction and reinforce. Attention is actually watching what is being done. For example, when a child is young they watch everything the parents are doing. The parents always say bless you when someone sneezes. The child is observing this behavior. The next step is retention. In this stage the child must remember that when someone sneezes, the parent says bless you. They are putting this information in their memory. The next step is motor…

I am ready for independent learning and to function without constant aid from teachers because I believe that the main component of learning is the studying and reinforcement a student demonstrates behind the foundational in-class guidance. This aspect takes discipline and self-control, qualities I exhibit through my character, which is then visible in my grades and results. I acknowledge that every teacher has a unique style of teaching, which can easily tip both ways in terms of how a student learns in a particular class, but regardless, this would not make such a big difference if every student went home to make sure they translated the information taught into information they understand. I prefer to come home and process all the material…

The definition of observational learning is learning that occurs through observing the behavior of others. This is a form of social learning which takes various forms. A great example would be a child might learn to use profanity, hit, drink, and find other inappropriate behavior that is acceptable through poor modeling. Models are parents, coaches, and teachers that are held in higher regard to the observer. Observational learning is a big part of culture, sports, and our everyday lives. It is important to know how observational learning was first studied to see how important it truly is to society.…

The learning outcome which students seemed to be most successful was learning how to build self-esteem and the mental disorders that can be associated with self-esteem, using communication skills, and the characteristics of mental and emotional health. The outcome was the best as stated before because most of my students scored excellent on this unit test, along with the assignments and activities that were associated with it. Out of the three periods of health taught and of the 86 students, 75 of those students received an A on the unit exam. There were 9 students who received a B and only two students who received a C or lower. Reasons associated with the success of this chapter could be that students were more engaged with the activities…

Observational learning means that we learn from modeling others. For kids, mainly parents, teachers, caregiver, or anyone who’s close to the child. I know that it is impossible that I’m the only one who gone through this phase of learning, every child must’ve copied acts of others based on what they see. When I was 2 years old, I…
