Methodology
Questionnaires and observations were the methods used to collect information. A questionnaire is a set of questions written for a survey. The questionnaire was taken to Super Plus Food Store on November 09, 2011 by the researcher. Upon entering the business Mrs. Bennett was the first person the researcher saw. Mrs. Bennett is an accountant in the firm. The researcher explained what the questionnaire was for and handed it to Mrs. Bennett. She examined the questionnaire and proceeded to answer the questions Mrs. Bennett took approximately fifteen minutes to complete the questionnaire then handed it to the researcher. This method was chosen because it has proven to be inexpensive and easier to collect the information pertaining to the finance department and how records and information re managed. Questions regarding Records and Information Management were presented on the questionnaire. An observation refers to the ability to notice details. The observation done by the researcher took place on November 08, 2011. The researcher went to Super Plus Food Store and observed how the different transactions were done in the finance...
