Nursing Philosophy
Nursing according to Merriam-Webster nursing is “the job of taking care of people who are sick, injured, or old.” But nursing to me means way more, to me it is the foundation of the medical field. As the nurses poke needles, remove blood, and patch up patients, they do all the labor in a hospital that no one really wants to do. I believe that the cure for many illnesses is not just in the medicine, but in the care a nurse gives to a patient in their home and in the hospital. I hope that I can make some difference in someones life by helping them recover in anyway. One thing that is very close to my heart is I truly believe that the health of someone is that it’s just all in the mind. A person is can be sick if he or she thinks they maybe …show more content…
Keeping the patient in a place where they feel at home. I also thinks that it is important for nurses to understand themselves so they can treat their patients to the best of their abilities. Spirituality can also hold a very important role in nursing. The care of a persons soul is one of the most powerful parts of caring for a person in nursing. I think nursing includes taking care of patients and helping the doctors out. I believe that caring is the heart of nursing, and that it should be viewed by all nurses as their moral ideal of taking care of human dignity. It is to be done by helping patients find a deeper meaning to their sickness and suffering so they will able to understand themselves better and be able to promote and restore their balance and harmony. I wonder what others can do to help nurses because they help others they really don't get times for themselves. I was in the hospital a lot my sophomore year of high school and I had lot and lot of nurses take care of me as I recovered. They had this rotation but they always made me feel like family, even on their day off they would make a frequent visit to me when it was really not needed. I was never scared of them all I was given was
