This paper explores professionalism roles for the nursing student and demonstrating professional behaviors while in school, working in the field as well as in everyday personal life. Professionalism is an area in Nursing that will carry into all aspects of ones’ life if they are to exhibit professional behaviors and become a true professional in every sense of the word. The article about taking a village to assure nurse professionalism was very enlightening. It spoke of the importance of nurse educators and nursing faculty to make a fluid transition of the new nurse into the field to decrease bullying which occurs in many forms and maintain a professional environment for all nurses new and experienced.
