“Eli this is getting crazy, and I need to know if everything will be okay for me to live my life.”
“Trust me it will.” He said eyeing me hard. the way he looks, I can tell he’s trying to convince himself that things will turn out for the better. All I can do is pray to God that things will turn out for the better, and no one gets killed in the near future.

Tonight, was the night before our Christmas party, making it Christmas eve. Ever since the talk with Eli, Eli been bothering me since. You can say he has issues now, now that I know everything, well almost everything. I know he’s trusting me with these secrets has him going over the edge.
I’ve been staying with Momma E, mostly because I didn’t want to be alone at Eli place while he’s out. Momma E off course agreed letting me settle in on one of the guest room. Eli brought clothes over to me which I’m glad, since I’ve never purchased any sleep wear since I’ve been staying with him. I haven’t seen Eli in three days now, and I got use to not seeing him much, knowing he doing he’s little undercover

    At the beginning of the story, Sylvia thinks of her son as just another Ramenzal that will be attending Whitehill and even gives him “number thirty one” (Vonnegut, 2) in the honored list of the Ramenzals who have attended the institution. Sylvia fails to realize that Eli has unique qualities that are different from the rest of the Remenzels until the end of the story. When the Remenzels discover from the headmaster that Eli has not been accepted to the school and realize that Eli has ran away because of the tough situation he got himself into, Sylvia finally recognizes that Whitehill is not the best place for him.
