Modern Version of Macbeth

Once he arrived in Miami, Tony Montana started looking for a job. He needed money any way he could in order to support his wife. He wanted to have a nice life unlike the previous one he had in Cuba which was very poor and struggling to win some money to eat. Montana believed that if he had already escaped from Cuba he already had began to accomplish his dream to become rich.

He started out applying for a job as a dish washer but was not satisfied after 3 months because he was living in the same conditions he had been living in Cuba. He could barely pay the rent for his small apartment and bring food home every night for him and his wife. One night, he was walking home when he saw a guy on the street all beat up and almost unconscious. Feeling compassionate he helped him stand up and took him into his house.

Lady Montana helped him by giving him a soup and they sewed up his cuts.

"Why are you helping me" - the man asked Montana.

"I try to help whoever I can help because those people will be grateful to me and become my friends and the most powerful man is the man with the most powerful friends."

"So you want to be powerful" The man asked Montana.

"Yes, I am waiting for a job that will help me achieve it."

"In gratitude of your kindness, I will give you a job by my side, it is a dangerous job but it is the job that will give you riches and power the fastest. Are you willing to take that risk?"

Montana nodded and the man continued on.

"My name is Nick Smith and I work for the most powerful man in the southern part of Miami, Louis Escobar, we buy imported drugs from Colombians and then we sell them to distributors."

Montana started having second thoughts because he could get caught and could spend the rest of his life in jail but his Lady immediately encouraged him to take the job.

"It 's an opportunity you can 't let go by." she said.

Montana finally agreed and Nick left his house with Montana 's number, assuring to call him when

What is the common denominator between the Colorado shooting and Shakespeare’s Macbeth? Blind ambition. It’s what drive people now and then use to motivate themselves to do things they want to. Macbeth relates to our society as demonstrated by the theme blind ambition. Some current day issues that show the blind ambitious side of people are; events such as the Colorado shooting at the movie theatre, Hitler causing a genocide, and in general how people will do anything they have to in order to get what they want. In Macbeth, you see the takeover of a country and the riddance of their values and honor all for someone’s desires; and in the end it all backfires with the death of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.…

Many times people do things based off of motivation; in the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare everyone motivates Macbeth to become a powerful evil individual. Macbeth is clearly motivated to a whole new level when he is given a lot of power of authority, but along the way he transforms that power into something bad, almost evil. Witches have many tricks up their sleeves and predicting the future is one of them. People always get an urge to want to do something, but it could get out of hand quickly. A general stereotype is that all women are controlling, in Macbeth this statement is true. Between the witches trying to influence Macbeth, Macbeth is becoming power thirsty, and his wife’s strong persuasive voice, he begins to turn evil.…

This morning has been so confusing; there is way too much pressure! It all started with the drunk porter then Macduff and Lennox came to the castle and Macduff asked Macbeth if King Duncan was awake, mentioning that Duncan asked to see him early that morning. My dear husband hesitantly said that Duncan was still asleep, and let me add on when Macduff asked Macbeth I was extremely scared that he would blabber out something out without thinking because clearly he does not think at times, and I always have to tell him what to do. He fortunately didn’t speak any of his nonsense. He just simply offered to take Macduff to the king and I was quiet proud because even if I knew he was terrified, he handled it quiet well and with control. Maybe insulting his manhood is actually working…

I followed the sea of guests throughout the many halls of the castle, adorned with banners to celebrate the new king, my respected friend who had fought alongside me in battle. Led by the castle’s staff, as well as a fair share of guards, court members such as myself were guided to a separate room where we wait to enter the ballroom following the new King Macbeth and his Queen, Lady Macbeth. The hall echoed with the excited murmurs of the court members, and I could hear the guests in the next room over sounding equally as giddy to be attending such an important ceremony. After a few moments, I could tell that the guests had been let into the ballroom to take their seats and settle in to await His Majesty. A member of the castle’s staff motioned…
