Introduction
The New Life Style Association (NLSA) is a non-profit organization in Pécs. It provides health care development and health care promotion services to the community. Their target group is wide, from the very young (babies and children) to the older generation (young adults, parents).
New Life Style Association (NLSA) was created to serve public benefit by educating the community of Pécs and the region on health development and healthy life style.
According to their web page NLSA started its operations 14 years ago. In 2009, the new president, Tünde Varga was put in charge. New Life Style Association has been moving towards new directions and has been developing new plans for the future. The organization now has 16 members. All the members have different specialties, including midwife, social worker, teacher, information technologist, mental hygiene specialist, nurse, nutritionist, tourism manager, pedagogic, reflexologies, social security consultant, economist and psychologist.
Their mission to call attention to the importance of healthy life style, but emphasize health development and provide the community with quality services to help improve clients’ “new life styles”.
Mission
New Life Style Association has a mission to call attention to the importance of healthy life style, form people’s attitude, emphasize health development and provide the community with quality services that improve the lives of people.
Their mission shows the moral and ethical position of the association wirh their desired public image. Their mission indicates their core target market and it describes their services. It is quite narrow and specified. But is is without any expectations of growth and profitability, but it is understandable due to the fact that NLSA is non-profit.
