Negative Effects Of Modern Gadgets
The advancement of modern gadgets brings negative effect towards religious aspect. Literally, -the invention of gadgets does not intend to affect religious side, but, it is caused by the users themselves which misuse these current technology. The countless number of Muslim gamers obsess with online games portrays the contradictory of the actual objective of human being has been created by God (Azizah Abdul Majid & Safiah, Shariff, 2017). Muslims are the people supposed to be the vicegerent of Allah and should devote themselves in worshipping and remembrance of Allah as the primary role in their life.

This means that they will stay up for a whole night to join the virtual tournament. Later on, they might wake up late in the morning and miss the Subuh prayer. They also do not have the sufficient sleeps which lead to fatigue, moody and lazy to go to the class. If they come to class, they are unable to give full concentration to the lecture. At the end, they do not gain any knowledge on that particular day. This is actually contradict to the Islamic teaching. Islam urge Muslims to seek knowledge because of people that are knowledgeable and well-educated will form a strong ummah compared to other people that have less knowledge. Moreover, adolescent are the aspiration of ummah to transform this current condition into a better one. This is because Muslims should be a community which led other community in the world as similar as ummah during the period of khalifah. If Muslim adolescents are still not aware with this situation and they still spend their time with playing online games, it is kind of wastefulness to themselves and ummah as they have already kill the potential of resurrection and glory of Islam in this …show more content…
