Naval Ammunition Refication Signature/Stamp (NARS)
Section V. Naval Ammunition Reclassifcation Signature/Stamp (NARS):

A. Bookmark 26The Audit team determined that 10 out of the 26 issue transactions did not have a NARS Stamp/Signature on either the DD-1348-1A or its assigned SPW (D.3.12, Column BA row 30). For example, we found that there was no evidence of a NARS Stamp/Signature stated on the DD 1348-1A or it's SPW (D.3.10, Bookmark 4, pg. 19-21). However we did find evidence that NARS were screened and documented by stamp/signature on either the DD 1348-1A or its SPW for the other 16 issue transactions (D.3.10, Bookmark 1, pg. 1, red box). Per P-724, during its Service Life, Naval Ammunition may be downgraded making it unserviceable or restricted in use. This change is put into effect

This permitting action will not change the applicability of any NSPS subpart, except for NSPS Subpart Kb. It was determined that the definition of "process tanks" under NSPS Subpart Kb was not considered under previous permitting actions for Husker Ag. The 190 proof ethanol tank and the 200 proof ethanol tank are exempt from NSPS Subpart Kb, because they do not meet the definition under that subpart for "process tanks". For a complete discussion of NSPS Subparts to which Husker Ag is subject, see the fact sheet attachment for OP04S2-003, issued June 25,…
