My contribution in the activity is my time. I give my time during practices and whenever they need me I directly accept what they command me. Also that I helped the President and the VPs in keeping the members at peace. And lastly I also helped the production team to cut some confetti’s and some stuffs.

The activity gives me a big impact because it helped me boost my courage and confidence especially when I sang at the stage. And also the cooperation of each member, it’s not because how they follow orders but because they know how to cooperate during the activity.

The activity increases my learning’s from Management 1 and principles because some of the topics were applied in our event which is the concert. That external recruitment was also applied because we recruit some outsiders to back-up dance our male lead singer.

From preparing of the needs of the concert up to the very event. The preparation is long while but the output was nice I guess. The main learning that I got in the activity is that learn to value the efforts of others because not all the time they are patient to you. And also that not everything that you do is correct, sometimes it’s wrong and you have to learn from your mistakes. Never mistake activity for achievement. Winning is not the base of success, it’s the contentment and how you see the audience satisfaction.

“Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it.” -- Greg Anderson

As what as the quotation says, happiness is found by doing the activity. I enjoyed the whole activity even though we didn’t win as long as the outcome of the concert was successful for us. The whole event was nice, time-oriented, and organized. It is very

In conclusion of my trip to the WorldBeat Cultural Center I was very happy to have been able to see at least the performance practice during my visit. My travel to get there was over two hours and approximately 95 miles one way to get there but my experience I feel was well worth it. The main goal of the WorldBeat Cultural Center as stated in their mission statement is to create unity within diversity. I believe just seeing the diversity of the performers in this one practice session that they practice what they…

Last February 16, we were required to watch Art in Action: Dance Series which features the Brazilian School of Capoeira (EBC). The program contains lectures and actual performances by students from the university and guest artists. Some of the lectures given were the following; Introduction to music, benefits of music to the artist and audience, elements of music and intoduction of different filipino ethnic instruments. The program also featured different kinds of dances like ; Philippine Northern Dances, Mindanao Dances, Classical Ballet, Swing, Modern Dances, Streetdance and Capoiera. Even though a lot of types were mentioned, I saw that the program focused mostly on dances from our country. The program still focused on how vibrant our culture is and how it changed over time. Honestly, my perception of philippine dances changed after watching this show because I saw how beautiful and creative those dances were. This program really made me appreciate more our culture. I'm now confident in saying that I learned a lot from this program, not just from our culture but also about dance as general. I learned that dance is really a form of art because it also requires creative skills which are also needed when painting or in arts and crafts. However, the highlight of the show were the featured guests from The Brazilian School of Capoeira (EBC). Members of EBC performed and they surely left the audience in awe. They were kind enough to give a "free class" when they asked volunteers from the audience to come and join them onstage. All in all, the show was very fun and educational. I learned a lot of things about dance which changed the way I saw dance before. I really recommend that everyone should watch them perform. It's worth watching and everyone will surely have a good…
