Narrative About The House Of Ambrogio
INT.HOUSE OF AMBROGIO-DAY
The House of Ambrogio is the most beautiful building I had ever seen. Walking down the hallway, I glanced around and took in my surroundings. The dividers were made of an odd blend of dim stone and sticking block. Now and again glinting gaslights that dangled from out-dated looking dark iron sconces stood out of the divider, radiating a delicate yellow shine that was, thankfully, truly simple on my eyes.
Narration:
I am HERNIKA PATTERSON, 16, currently the newly Marked fledgling at the House of Ambrogio. I dropped my parent’s last name when they died and took up my beloved grandma’s last name when I went to live with her. The first time I got Marked, the Tracker followed me to school and made me look like a creep in

What did you say?
GRANDMA PATTERSON
I’m sorry Astrid. It seems like Hernika has got a lot in her mind right now.
Astrid
Very well, I will have someone escort her to her room. Oh and Hernika, welcome to the House of Ambrogio.

I smiled back at her. I wasn’t sure if I could do this. I really had no idea if I could survive all those years and Change into an adult vampyre. But what I do know is that, there is no place for me in the human world. The humans know we existed, but it is against the rule that fledglings show their Marks when venturing out of the school grounds. I guess I have nothing to lose…. except…. maybe if I don’t make it through the Change and die......
Grandma Patterson
Hernika…Hernika… are you okay?
Hernika
Sorry grandma. I’m going to miss you so much. Promise me you will call every single day. And make sure you take your pills and eat every meal. And please don’t worry about me.
Grandma Patterson(smiling)
Don’t worry my child. As long as you’re in the care of Astrid, I have nothing to worry.
Then Astrid did something that not only surprised me but Grandma Patterson. It made me like her instantly and I also knew that I was beginning to trust her. She walked over to Grandma Patterson and spoke slow and

The chamber has shown the affinity and communication of nature and human through its decorative ceiling. There are 34 thematic paintings on panels in the chamber in total, the thematic oval panels on the 4 sides of the room showing religious or mythological scenes, or representing scenes of production process and trade. The object collection itself was stored in 20 cabinets. The arrangement of this hidden vault room is quite unique, instead of showing the collections in a large cabinet, Francesco divided four areas to organize vista of thematic canvases. Earth, water, air and fire are the four governing elements of each side of the space (Figure 1) These wall paintings showed the ultimate personal artistic preference of Francesco. Under each wall, there is a serial of exquisite oil paintings related to the theme. There are 19 of them distributed along the four thematic walls, covering by different oval –framed paintings that indicated the contents in the cupboard. “The paintings of the Studiolo concealed cabinets containing the dilettante prince's collections of precious gems and artifact.”…

“Shaking off from my spirit what must have been a dream, I scanned more narrowly the real aspect of the building. Its principal feature seemed to be that of an excessive antiquity. The discoloration of ages had been great. Minute fungi overspread the whole exterior, hanging in a fine tangled web-work from the eaves. Yet all this was apart from any extraordinary dilapidation. No portion of the masonry had fallen; and there appeared to be a wild inconsistency between its still perfect adaptation of parts, and the crumbling condition of the individual stones. In this there was much that reminded me of the specious totality of old wood-work which has rotted for long years in some neglected vault, with no disturbance from the breath of the external air. Beyond this indication of extensive decay, however, the fabric gave little token of instability. Perhaps the eye of a scrutinizing observer might have discovered a barely perceptible fissure, which, extending from the roof of the building in front, made its way down the wall in a zigzag direction, until it became lost in the sullen waters of the tarn.” (pp.5)…

The family was very important in renaissance Florence as it constituted the primary unit of association. Within renaissance Italy there can be seen to be three distinct ideas as to what constituted a family, the nuclear or immediate family, the extended family including aunts, cousins, grandparent and the bloodline or linage which included all ancestors who shared the family name. The Florentine concept of the family or famigilia was, as theorized by Goldthwaite, the nuclear unit, not the extended family of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents the Kents implied. The family was important as it was a close social, emotional, economic and political unit, while there were other important social and political relationships that existed within renaissance Florence, it is only the renaissance family that can be seen as the heart of those social and political relationships.…

As I’m walking on the side walk looking at this calm and peaceful neighborhood I’m falling in love with all the beautiful trees and the serenity of the environment. Even to this day, I don't know how my grandma had so much love for someone who she could barely remember. Yet, since my grandma's condition was bad I naturally helped out my family with my great grandma. I would bring in and out sodas for her since she had a mad addiction to the fizzy drink, and sometimes I would bring her hot meals. Even though doing all of that was great, my favorite thing to do for her was to keep her company. On the most beautiful of days, we would go out and sit on the neon yellow swing set in front of our house in early afternoons when the leaves were turning a beautiful shade of brown and the weather was just the right temperature. The wind sang alluring songs in your ears as the branches of the lush trees danced to the melody. I can picture it just like it was yesterday. The pond next to us glimmered a light blue color as the swing squeaked in glee. She would sing the same tune each time and i would drift into a world of peace and tranquility where nothing else mattered at that moment. But as a little girl, I took those special moments for granted. I was too oblivious to know that good things don't last forever, they never…

As I finally walked up the great hill, I caught sight of ‘the building’ and I knew at once it was the globe Theatre, it was the gorgeous narrow castle on the left. It was the most out-standing building of all of them and it had a reddish flag at the very top which meant there was a performance on that day. The building was like a sky-scraper and its colour was just so different from the dull and dark other buildings. The building had a very circular shape.…

I reluctantly started my journey down the stairs. I was greeted with a ‘good morning’ from my mom, dad, and brother, which is everyone in my family except one person. Blaire was never amiable towards me, unless she was forced to, but even then you could hear the sarcasm laced in her voice. I hesitantly fixed my cereal hoping she would realize that the only available seat was near her which would result in her leaving, but of course luck was not on my side. I slowly approached the seat, and waited for her to notice me, and fortunately she…
