My future
Preparing my future

This part of my life...this part is all about trying to make the right choice for my future. The right choice so I can pursue my dream. I got a dream and this dream is to have a degree from an English university and have a career within the UN after volunteering.
The fact that I want to volunteer for the United Nations is also based on my personal experience. From an early age, I was taking part in voluntary activities at the local and community level. It helped me understand that the motivation of a volunteer is special. I use the world « special » because the fact of doing something voluntarily, involves contribute without necessarily expecting something in return. One of many questions everybody asks me is why I want to work for the United Nations. Let me start off by writing that the United Nations was established after World War 2 in 1945 in purpose to maintain world peace and security. Being able to have an impact on the global security and world peace is indeed challenging, but it would be a huge achievement for me as a person. The United Nations also has a purpose to develop friendly relations among different nations. The United Nations also increases respect for the Human Rights and try to create a better standard of living in developing countries and this is one of many reasons why I want to work and represent them. Their activities cover all parts of the globe and they also cover a number of global issues such as environmental protection and refugees, the fight against terrorism as well as disarmament and non-proliferation. This organization is also involved in the promotion of democracy, human rights, expansion of food production and public health etc. They are also responsible in many other important issues in order to achieve their objectives that include focusing in actions to try to create a more secure world not only for present generations but also future generations. This organization is based on gender equality and

Australia has a large contribution in the Peace and security operations of the UN as mentioned before. Part of the United Nations role in peacekeeping is it invites member states to contribute soldiers or people with other special skills to work in an area of the world that is troubled or where outbreaks of conflict may happen in the future. The United Nations aims to stop war before it even begins. An example of a force that does these operations is United Nations Assistance Mission to Rwanda (UNAMIR). Australian’s were the first peacekeepers to serve under the United Nations peace organisations when they sent military observers to Indonesia in 1947. About 70 000 Australian people have partaken in more than 50 different peace keeping operations, in about 25 different conflicts. Australia was the first country to help the United Nations out in their peacekeeping sector. This means that peace operations has to be one of the three key contributions that Australia has given to the United Nations because when the United Nations needed men to help them keep peace in Indonesia we helped and since then we have continued to help out has shown by the…

In conclusion, nonprofits have done and will continue to do so much for the world. Without these organizations there would be no attention brought to the world wide problems. There are so many problems throughout the world that many people do not know about, and because of some nonprofit organizations, the world is beginning to become more and more aware of the problems. Being involved with the nonprofits can bring one closer to the world wide problems and also benefit the volunteer. Many people would like to make a difference, not only in their own life, but in others’ lives as well. Deepak Chopra once said, “Everyone has a purpose in life…a unique gift or special talent to give to others. And when we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy and exultation of our own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of all goals.” All of us, at one point in our lives, have to make the difficult decision of the goals we want to work towards. We all have certain goals, standards, and expectations of ourselves. Not everyone will figure out what they want to be right away, and some will know from the very beginning. For many, the future holds endless possibilities, volatile to constant changings. In fact, there was a supernova of artistry that crafted the world into a mechanized empire. AI computers replaced tangible beings and created ease and a sense of comfort that, unfortunately, only relieved a paltry fraction of the world’s population. The world seemingly became a utopia, peaceful and blithe, without anxiety or trepidation, but that only existed in the dream world.…
