The room consists of a bed, chair, and table with a glass of water on it. There are also paintings on the wall which looked to be hung crooked but Van Gogh mentioned the house was not at ninety-degree angle. It also shows another chair blocking a door. This other door led into his studio. One could assume he had the chair there so no one would enter his studio.…

A tan carpet covers the floor and runs the length of the room, which has black plastic moldings that connect the floor to the wall. The walls in the office are painted green with a decorative tan border that runs along the bottom edges and doorframes of the walls. In the room, a piece of the wall has been removed to provide an example of the building’s layout that shows a brick interior that is covered by wood and plaster covering. The brick indicates the room’s addition onto the structure. This removed section also provides fire marshals with information on the structure’s interior layout when conducting annual fire code inspections. White wooden frames surround the doors, which are comprised of fascia moldings. One doorway connects to the entrance hall while the other leads into the dining room. Two white wooden framed windows in the office feature fascia molding. The smooth white plaster ceiling runs the length of the room and contains a smoke detector above the doorway leading into the hallway. A fireplace positioned on the eastern wall of the room contains a black stone hearth. A golden metal grate sits in front of the firebox opening. Attached to the hearth is the cheek, which connects to the firebox opening’s black brick interior. The white plaster fireplace and mantel, with matching fascia molding, is symmetrical to the molding featured in the…

A melody is heard, played upon a flute. It is small and fine, telling of grass and trees and the horizon. The curtain rises. Before us is the Salesman’s house. We are aware of towering, angular shapes behind it, surrounding it on all sides. Only the blue light of the sky falls upon the house and forestage; the surrounding area shows an angry glow of orange. As more light appears, we see a solid vault of apartment houses around the small, fragile-seeming home. An air of the dream clings to the place, a dream rising out of reality. The kitchen at center seems actual enough, for there is a kitchen table with three chairs, and a refrigerator. But no other fixtures are seen. At the back of the kitchen there is a draped entrance, which leads to the living room . . .…

I lay patiently on the cracked leather chaise longue. The modest room was a fading cream colour, books line the wall near my feet in an ornate shelf, a small desk and chair sit by the wall opposite me next to the iron door, there is a single swinging light in the middle of the room which casts a golden glow over everything and a painting of a sailing ship hangs above me.…

When you walk into my room, on the left wall there is a white dresser that has 6 rectangular drawers, and above that is a crummy and dirty mirror (its old). On the dresser, there will be a tall Big Bird Funko Pop, and there are most likely to be fancy earrings on top of it. Next to that will be a small stack of designed notebooks and a variety of books with a bigger Cannon camera. Depending on the day there will be a tall and slim water bottle or a stout, white defuser and an essential oil next to it. Following the dresser, still on the left wall, is a worn out TV tray. On that, there is a Harley Quinn Funko Pop, an empty box of tissues, my gross iPad charger, along with my iPad, and my phone charger. A little above the TV tray is a large…

There’re six rooms on each side of the hall. They have private rooms for the residents that don’t like to share rooms with someone else. The private rooms are bigger than the other rooms. They have a bigger bathroom and it’s more comfortable. The small rooms have two twin beds and two small closets. Besides the rooms, they have two dining rooms, one for the people that need assistance and the other one for the rest of the residents. They use the launch to do activities with the residents. This room is a regular size and it has a flat screen TV, tables for the residents to play cards or puzzles in and two tan sofas for residents and visitors to sit on. Also, there’s a door that leads to the patio, where the activities director takes residents to sit outside on the benches. When you walk in the dining room, the first thing you see is the big black piano that they have against the windows. They have lots of tables for the residents to sit down.…
