My Favourite Film
My favourite film.

Among a variety of films most of all I love comedies and romantic dramas, because such films cheerful and optimistical. I do not love horrors. My most favourite film is Titanic. It is the most beautiful love story. Titanic is a history of the present feelings of two young hearts which cannot be together. Titanic is a picture, forced to look millions spectators with a sinking heart. I will not be afraid to tell that it is James Cameron's the best work which I had seen. The film which has brought definitive triumph to the director, and improbable glory to actor's structure, including executors of main roles - Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet. In the picture the director tries to show all tragedy of destruction of "Titanic", in the smallest details describing each detail of accident. The notable girl and the poor young man fall in love in each other onboard Titanic and their love proceeds to destruction of the ship. In my opinion, actor's game is excellent. Camerawork is fantastic, too. I heard that they have made for this film model of "Titanic" full-scale. It is most big-budget film in the history of a cinema, and it shows that a film really remarkable. Music which grasps spirit, perfectly supplements a plot, helps to understand all internal experiences of the main things of executors. Will pass years, maybe, tens years, but, certainly, all people of the world will never forget awful accident and tragical destruction of liner

Within the context of film industry, the film Titanic by James Cameron belongs to epic romance/ disaster genre. The film, released in 1997, was a global box office hit because the director provided equal importance to history, fiction and romance. To be specific, one can see that the film’s plot is based upon the history of RMS Titanic. On the other side, the main characters including the protagonist and the heroine (Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater/Dawson) are fictional characters. Besides, the element of romance between the main characters (Jack and Rose) is the film’s main attraction. Thesis statement: The critical analysis of the film Titanic proves that the innovative mode of storytelling (flash back and other techniques), Acting, Cinematography, Editing, Sound, Style and Directing (equal importance to fictional and historical characters), Societal Impact, and Genre (epic romance/disaster) are the most important factors behind the film’s success as a historical/fictional masterpiece (special references specific shots, scenes, characters, stylistic devices and/or themes).…

Movies are a very personal preference. There are many different categories of movie and some are very enjoyable to certain people while others are not. The writer of the essay really enjoys action movies, science fiction, and fantasy. For the writer it is the thrill of the escape to a world where events are extra ordinary. The movies allow the writer to escape for those couple of hours and to feel like he is a part of that world. The writer does not enjoy romantic…

The hit musical "Singin' in the Rain" may possibly be one of if not the greatest musicals of all time. With it's tale of the film world of the mid 1920's and its creative underlining love story between Don Lockwood (Gene Kelly) and Kathy Selden (Debbie Reynolds), it provokes the interest of someone who would not generally be attracted to a musical. It is a classic masterpiece that set the standards that musical films of today will be judged by. It is a classic performance by the great Gene Kelly and displays outstanding performances by Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor. As well as starring in this brilliant movie, Gene Kelly teams up with Stanley Donen to make their mark in film history.…

I appreciated the director’s eye for detail in each scene. Also, I enjoyed the unique personalities of each character as well as the dialogue between them. Although, this movie was created amongst thousands of other film during the studio era. It endured through the years because many considered it to be the first classic in the film noir genre in Hollywood and the standard of cinematic storytelling. Even in the present day, this cinematic masterpiece will leave audiences with a delightfully bitter…

Films that I particularly favor are thrillers. One reason Thrillers become so enjoyable for me, a sense of diversion is created making the viewers more indulge in the movie all the way to the ending. The plots are usually twisted, climatic, suspenseful and intelligence is often use far as the writing perspective to result in an ecliptic viewing of the movie. A really great thriller will usually bring a shock factor by the climax, then the movie will receive a better understanding from the beginning to end. Another genre of films I enjoy are Musicals they are fashionable and express emotions through singing. I am really into lyricism so I enjoy comparing the actual expression of the each character's individual story and the progression…

I would recommend Me and Earl and the Dying Girl to anyone who likes a cliche movie where two people fall in love, and then one dies of cancer. Anyone who likes a sad, realistic fiction movie should definitely watch this movie. The plot is interesting, but predictable. Overall, I didn’t think this movie was outstanding, so I rate it three…

Storytelling is more important to me than anything else, and I believe film is one of the most rewarding and honest forms of storytelling. Ever since I was a little kid I have been in love with movies. When I was nine I got a camcorder for Christmas, and I would make my friends help me remake scenes from my favorite movies, and when they said the lines wrong I would yell at them and make them do it over and over until they got it right or got so annoyed with me that they went home.…

Ever since I have been a little kid, I have always loved horror movies. This genre of movies interests me, because you are constantly kept on the edge of your seat. I think when you take a look at various horror films and compare them; you will notice an array of different scare tactics/methods. You will also notice many cliché ideas that a lot horror flicks have in common. I will point these ideas out in detail, when I compare The Dawn of The Dead horror flick released in 1978, with the one released in 2004; Two and a half decades later.…

My favorite movie is Coming to America with Eddie Murphy. The reason this great movie is my favorite is because Eddie Murphy is hilarious and one of my favorite actors in my book. This movie is extremely funny and is basically what I wanted my life to be when I first saw this movie, I wanted to meet a prince, fall in love and get married like every young girl wanted when they were little. This movie was much much more than that in my eyes, it's not your ordinary Cinderella story, it's much deeper. It opened my eyes on how to really deal with responsibilities in this world we live in and being rich and famous is not what it is all cracked up to be, the rich and the famous are more depressed and lonely then the regular average Joe and Jane of…

A good movie to me is inspirational. The Pursuit of Happiness is one of the most inspirational movies I have ever seen. Not only is it inspirational, but it is also a true story. The main character goes from being homeless with a kid, to being a millionaire. It makes me want to watch it over and over again. Forest Gump is another great example of a good movie. The main character experiences so much throughout his life. A lot of it was not good. No matter how bad things got, he always stayed positive and kept moving on with his life. Movies like this can motivate people to keep fighting for what they want in life. Not only are these movies, but they can also be life lessons. Good movies like these keep me going sometimes.…
