Motivational Letter
I am writing to you to apply for the Master’s Degree in Project Management in which I am particularly interested.
My aim is to work in an international field of Project Management and consulting. Ever since I was a child, I had always dreamed of being a manager. Therefore I would like to gain a deeper theoretical knowledge and practical skills to evaluate project management in a multicultural context. I believe a university with a high reputation like ESC Lille is the best place to achieve my career objectives.
I hold a 4.5 years of professional experience in the field of Software Industry.
With an excellent grade in the intermediate I was determined to apply for a Bachelor degree in Computer Science. This gave me a broader understanding of the technology and its importance in this revolutionary world. My real-time industrial experience started from the third semester of my graduate. I did four individual projects during the course; on all the projects I did put forth my effort on all the phases of the software lifecycle. The client interaction shaped me with a very good professional behaviors and immense industrial experiences. I passed out with an aggregate of 75%.
I thought that with a bachelor’s degree, my possibilities would be limited so I decided to do my Masters. I managed to get seat in a college which was one among the top ten technical colleges in India. Apart from my studies I involved my-selves in various management activities by organizing cultural shows and symposiums. At the end of my second semester I took the responsibility of being a placement coordinator and visited major IT Industries in India representing my department and inviting them for on-campus placements. At the end of my third semester my dream come true, yes I was recruited by a major IT player called Birlasoft which was listed in the top 20 software exporting companies in India. Birlasoft also offered me to do my final semester project work in their facility for them. I
