There is this boy and he is separated from his father and his father is in the demon land. The boy lives in the middle kingdom with his mother and grandmother. the boy's father so he lives in the demon world. the boy always wanted to know about his father but his mother was too busy to answer any of his questions. In the demon world moon shadow was treated like a man and not a boy. Moonshadow does not go to the school during the daytime like demon children because demons would not allow moonshadow to go to any of the schools.
