Part Two
Directions: Write the introduction for your Narrative Essay, following the guidelines you were taught. The introduction should be approximately 150-200 words in length and may include dialogue. Many and many a year ago, there lived two young gentlemen who seemed to have had a very well established relationship. One by the name of Montressor, who is a drunk and seen as a nobody by the majority of the town, with a soft spot and secret gentle, kindness. The other by the name of Fortaunto, whom is very wealthy and a bit of a bully, but hides it very well under his apologetic personality. These two happened to run into each other at a carnival, and hit it off from the start. Standing by a ticket booth Fortaunto accidentally hit Montressor in the nose with his elbow while turning around to check his surroundings before pulling out a huge wad of cash. "Pardon me sir, I'm very sorry" Fortaunto explained. "Its fine, accidents happen" replied Montressor. But, Fortaunto proceeded to apologize many more times and offer Montressor a drink.
