1. What is positive parenting?
Positive parenting is when you teach your child values such as, good behavior, making clear guidelines and rules, and good communication. 2. What is discipline? How does it differ from punishment?
Discipline is teaching,meaning teaching your child there wrongdoings. punishing is hurting them for what they did and not explaining what he or she did wrong.
3. What is active listening? Why is it used by parents?
Active listening is when the child learns learns from the feedback of parents. Parents tend to use active listening so their child learns what they can do to improve what they did.
4. What is guidance? Provide an example of a parent providing guidance to a child? Guidance is when you help and assist your child with the task they are given. Letting them know your point of view.one example is when cleaning around the house the parent does chores with the child guiding them on how to do it perfect while having fun.
5. Where can families and parents find support and resources? things such as headstart and medicaid.
