Administrative Assistant Temps (AAT)

Section 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE COMPANY
Administrative Assistant Temps (AAT) is an agency designed to fill short term, administrative and secretarial positions for companies around the globe. We have been in business since 1990 and have more than twenty years of work experience. The men and women that make up our staff are trained in all aspects of administrative and secretarial duties, and are known for their professionalism throughout the business world. Here at AAT, we strive to be the best at what we do, and we guarantee your satisfaction with our service 100%.
1.2 Business Goals
Over the past year, AAT’s growth has been exceptional. Because of this growth, we have the need to find an outside source for all our Microsoft Office training. Currently we have the capacity to train fifty new employees in Microsoft Office per month. Our goal is to double the number of employees trained, while also decreasing the time it takes to train those employees. In order for us to reach this goal, we will need the help of an established and respectable computer systems training company.
Section 2: INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT
2.1 Project Goals
The following are the goals that need to be met in order for the successful execution of our training project. 1. Increase the number of employees trained per month from 50 employees, to 100 employees. 2. Decrease the amount of time it takes to train a group of employees. The current training class is four weeks long. There is no set value for the amount of time we would like to see cut out of the training process. We at AAT understand that not all groups learn the same, and that some employees will need more time to grasp the subject matter than others. However, we do believe that the time it takes to train a group of employees can be reduced without compromising the quality of the training. 3. Increase user confidence with all Microsoft Office products. Our current training process teaches only the basics of how to use Microsoft Office. We would like the new training program to cover more in depth usability, such as how to format memos, user manuals, and requests for proposals. 2.2 Time Allocation
AAT would like to begin the new training processes by July 1st, 2013. We would also like each training session to be no more than four weeks long, and host at least two training sessions during the same months (at different times). Training sessions will ideally be held twice a quarter, every quarter. 2.3 Budgeting
Budgeting will be based upon a bid system. Companies, who are interested in accepting the responsibility of training AAT employees, may submit a proposal to AAT that includes an estimated total cost of operation. Companies should take into consideration all costs that they may accrue when hosting the training program and submit their bid accordingly. In an effort to keep competition fair for all companies proposing a bid, AAT will not disclose any company’s bid to competitors. 2.4 Description of the Needed Training
The following is a description of what the training should cover. 1. Proper formatting for business writing
2. Recognition and ability to construct business documents such as; memos, requests for proposals, user manuals, professional emails, and business letters etc. 3. How to save, send, and open various types of documents with software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe PDF files. 4. The use of formulas in Microsoft Excel, and general data inputting. 5. Proper formatting of Microsoft PowerPoint in a business setting. 6. The use of annotated and narrated speaker notes.
