Style trends for women’s sportswear/ athletic wear vary little year to year. Based on our research the primary changes for the trends of Spring 2015 wear slight modification to the design and fit of athletic wear.
For group 1, we decided that tight-fitted base-wear, tight-fitted layers, looser-fitted outerwear, color-blocking patterns, and geometric patterns will best meet the needs and wants of the consumers targeted. The women in group 1 are in their twenties, new to having money and single with moderate income and low expenses. These consumers desire option.

For group 1, we decided that synthetic fiber-blend fabrics, digital printed fabrics, woven knit fabrics, wool fabrics, high performance nylon fabrics, micro-light fleece fabrics, and spandex fabrics would best meet the needs and wants of the consumers targeted. The targeted consumer is given a variety of high performance and quality fabrics to meet their desires when shopping for sportswear/ athletic wear.
For group 2, we decided that synthetic fiber-blend fabrics, woven knit fabrics, wool fabrics, high performance nylon fabrics, micro-light fleece fabrics, and spandex fabrics would best meet the needs and wants of the consumers targeted. The fabrics indicated will give the consumer the most value for their money. The material will last and wear conformably.
For group 3, we decided that synthetic fiber-blend fabrics, woven knit fabrics, wool fabrics, micro-light fleece fabrics, and spandex fabrics would best meet the needs and wants of the consumers targeted.
