1.Introduction of the company :-
Samsung Mobile is the part of Samsung Electronics. As we know Samsung Electronics is famous worldwide for their electrical products. Mobiles are one of the major products of the Samsung Company. The major part of the revenue is contributed by the Samsung Mobile to the Samsung Electronics. Samsung Mobile is the world’s second largest mobile company after over taking the Nokia and Motorola in the last year. Initially Samsung was started in South korea in Daegu with a small shop and gradually built up in to a massive company. It was started as manufacturing electronics goods for consumers in year 1969 under the supervision of Byung-Chull Lee. He was the chairman of the company. The Samsung Mobile Segment is contributing effectively towards the success of the entire Samsung group. Brief history, Mission & Vision of Samsung Company:-

As I mentioned above Samsung Electronics was established in year 1969. Initially they were famous for the electronic products like Televisions, Radio’s, Computer components and other electronic devices. Samsung company entered in phone’s business in 1986. Samsung mobile’s first offering was car phone which was introduced in 1986. But the manufacturing was halted because poor sales. Than in the year 1987 the chairman Byung-chull passed away and kun-hee lee was the chairman. Than in year 1988 Samsung mobile launched its first mobile SH-100. But this mobiles were bulky and reception and sales was still poor. 1993 was the turning point for the Samsung mobile in this year they launched their SH- 700 series which were smaller, sleeker than the previous model and had better sound quality. With this better mobile and good marketing campaign. Samsung took over the half mobile phone market in Korea from his competitor Motorola. Than in year 1996 company launched their mobile in America and their also they had success with their sleek and compact phones.
