Q1+Q2
Major Decision:
A. Company Name:
In this first quarter, I used a name “High tech ” for my new company. I choose this name is because the company is about computers and high technology can totally represent the meaning.
B. Target Market:
At the point of Q1,I chose the workhorse as my first target segment. This is because workhouse is the medium kind of computer, customers will be much more than the other two. People talked about easy to use, low price, after sale service and support and other staffs to pick computers.
C. Responsibility:
President-Overall leadership is my primary responsibility in the company which meant that I had the final decision and first right to make decision of all the matters related with the business in my company. Then, my secondary responsibility was VP-Brand management. The reason for this is because I think brand is one of the most important things in product and it’s the first thing that people start to know the product.
D. Open Sales Office:
Considering of the biggest market size of all four places, I chose to open Shanghai as my first sales office. Besides, the cost of opening sales office in Shanghai was 0.
E. Design Brands:
In Q2, I began to design my first computer for Workhorse. I put the name TR100 for it. Besides the some basic features, I used high capacity of hard drive, office, Presentation, Database, Engineering, and Manufacturing in my design to fit most people’s needs and wants.
F. Pricing:
I put $3525 with the rebate of 200 as my price for TR100. This price did not exceed the price people were willing to pay in Mercedes, which was $2500.
G. Advertising:
After evaluating customer needs and my design of TR100, the order of the features for TR100 was 1. Easy to use, 2.Low price, 3.After-sale service and support, 4.Able to store a lot of data, 5.Can link with other computers, 6.Fast and powerful, 7.Fun to use, 8.Easy on eyes.

The simulation provided five options for cost cutting at the hospital with only two of the options available to select from, in hopes of the best result. The five options for cost cutting are reducing agency staff, downsizing staff, reducing benefits, changing the skill mix, and reducing length of stay for the patients. Leadership is defined as the process of influencing others to understand and agree about what needs to be done and how to do it, in order to accomplish what you set out to do. People often assume that anyone in a management position is a leader but I find that statement to be false. To be considered a leader, you must have very strong beliefs, and to work hard at your goal and stay focused. A Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the highest ranked executive manager in a corporation and in my opinion one of the most important. A CEO can range from being the founder of a company, the owner of a business, or they have a great significance within the corporation. A CEO’s responsibility can vary depending on how involved…

In the world of business today, a manager's responsibility is to lead an organization's staff to the achievements of previously set goals by planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. The future of management seems to be going in the direction of eliminating leading from the list of responsibilities. The role of leading is more frequently being given to employees. The technique of the "team" approach is being added to the workforce, which allows for employees to control ideas and the implementation of the ideas along with many other aspects. Almost always in a team situation, a leader or a spokesperson will emerge. The responsibility of the manager, when using the team approach is to control the amount of work being produced from the team(s). The manager is not managing the business, but managing the employees and allowing employees to run the business. This only happens when the employees are competent and aware of their responsibilities. Usually this acknowledgement of awareness for responsibility stems from the teachings of a good manager.…
