Middle School Research Paper
Middle School
Middle school was both exciting and frightening. It was exciting because I was able to switch classes and it made me feel older, however it was frightening because I had to impress more than one teacher and adjust to their teaching methods. The first day of middle school was different because that year my father could not see me off to school. My father died unexpectedly a few weeks before my first day of middle school which only added to the stress. Overall my first day was still pretty exciting because I knew I was going to meet new people. I was excited to see some of my old friends in the same class with me. I thought the work was going to harder since I was older, but it was not much different from elementary. In seventh grade, my old friends and I grew apart since we were in different

I was excited and nervous to go to a new school. When I arrived I had to find all of my classes by myself. I met a girl named Jasmine who helped me around the school. I was starting to like this school a lot because I was getting the hang of it and I was making new friends. I remember my first crush in middle school. His name was Tre and we were both on team Explorer. He use to pick on me every day so I did not find him attractive anymore. One day I was sharpening my pencil in class and he came up to me and told me that I was pretty. I was surprised to hear that from him since he would pick on me. We began to talk a little more and I seen a softer side of him. He told me that he use to pick on me because he had a crush on me. Today Tre and I have a great relationship with each other and we talk everyday. Although the beginning of middle school was rough and difficult, The years were fun and if I had a chance to do it all over again I

Should Conroe High School remove their rule on not letting kids leave school to get food? Yes, Some students do not eat lunch at all and also because some of the food is disgusting, and being able to leave the school during lunch would be better for the students, we would be able to hang out for a little outside of school instead of being in class for 8 hours.…

Ninth grade so far has been fun but interesting. First, the classes are fun and exiting. Classes are full of fun and we even get some freedom of which classes we want to take. Next, in high school there is a lot of fun school activities. There are ball games, winter week, homecoming week, pep fests, parades, and many other fun things. Finally, the older kids are a lot nicer than I expected. I like the older kids mainly because they are really helpful and most of them are nice. LFCHS is a fun place for ninth graders to start a high school career.…

Seventh grade is a struggle for almost every student. It is a completely different atmosphere compared to what students have adapted to in their elementary years. My seventh-grade year started as a struggle, but after hard work and determination, it ended in success. I was a student at Bayou Academy and had been since kindergarten. I was always an honor roll student. It had never been a struggle for me to make good grades. Everything was about to change because of my seventh-grade English teacher, Mrs. Maria Johnson. Because of all of the journal writing in Mrs. Johnson's class, I am a better student today.…

It was very nerve wracking for me the first couple of days- I was taking 7 different classes, taking the school bus for the first time ever, and just meeting so many different people; it took a couple of weeks to get used to, but I really liked it. I’d could say I enjoyed middle school just a little more than high school. Being a “social butterfly” I didn’t have the slightest problem in making new friends, so there came back my “popularity"- like I had in elementary school. What also came back from elementary school was my attitude towards teachers and school work. Again I wouldn't misbehave or break the rules, but If someone would give me an attitude or scold me I would give the attitude right back… and that sometimes would give me a detention or a talk with a counselor. I had to stop the attitude sometimes and bite my tongue, because I was a cheerleader for the school’s team. Being on the team meant I was representing the squad and the school, so I always had to be on my best behavior and do the best I could to have a good GPA to stay on the…

No matter what grade a student are going into, there are many necessities for back to school. First off, many classroom, supplies are needed. Most students will generally need things like: binders, notebooks, folders, and writing utenshuls. Some schools even provide parents with a list of what will be needed. Akeelah and the Bee is one of those rare movies that comes along every once in a while and manages to get everything right despite sticking to an almost formulaic plot design. In this case, Akeelah is almost a sports movie, with the titular heroine involved in a spelling competition instead of any sort of sport with a ball. Make no mistake about it though, anyone who has seen the spelling championship on ESPN knows how brutal the competition can be. As a competition movie, Akeelah puts the mass of children’s sports movies to shame though, as the film proves it’s not the winning at the end of the film, but the journey there that makes us who we are.…

We met in first grade and became real good friends right from the start. I remember playing a lot together with our friends. We also lived just across the street from each other so imagine, seeing each other at school and after school play even more outside after our homework was done, it was a great way of spending time together. Unfortunately after first grade, we somehow had to go to different schools, but we still got together after school and played together. It wasn’t until after 4th grade that I moved to a new neighborhood and didn’t see him again until 8th grade. We saw each other and recognized one another and again we became inseparable. We had a few classes together and we were always partners whenever we were assigned to grab a partner. Also that same school year, all the rumors started; that we liked each other, we were going to end up going out, we were always together and so on. I did think about it but we were just fourteen year olds who had no age and no intention of dating. We were the best of friends in middle school and kept going strong.…
