Coconut Creek Elementary School Analysis
When my mom withdrew me from the christian school, in first grade, she then enrolled me into; my second grade year, Coconut Creek Elementary School. After enrolling to this elementary school my mom says I learned so much more than I did in the Christian school. A perfect example of learning much better would be my reading level, my reading level (judged by the fcat) went from a two to a four. I was doing great academic wise; getting A’s and B’s in my class subjects. However, just because I was doing great academically, didn't mean I liked my teachers and the subjects I was learning… It was 3rd grade when I first didn’t like my teacher. She was strict and old; didn't have an once of humor in her bones. I thought she was a mean old lady and because I thought this way of her, I would have an attitude towards her. I’d could say I enjoyed middle school just a little more than high school. Being a “social butterfly” I didn’t have the slightest problem in making new friends, so there came back my “popularity"- like I had in elementary school. What also came back from elementary school was my attitude towards teachers and school work. Again I wouldn't misbehave or break the rules, but If someone would give me an attitude or scold me I would give the attitude right back… and that sometimes would give me a detention or a talk with a counselor. I had to stop the attitude sometimes and bite my tongue, because I was a cheerleader for the school’s team. Being on the team meant I was representing the squad and the school, so I always had to be on my best behavior and do the best I could to have a good GPA to stay on the

For example, middle schools are often much larger, and students may find themselves separated from their elementary school friends. They have to make new friends in a strange, unfamiliar setting. Also, instead of having one teacher, students have five to seven different teachers a day. That is a lot of new people to get used to.…

Sixth grade, the first year in the new middle school building. It was about the third week into school and a teacher came up to me and asked me to watch over this kid named Justin. (He was different from everyone else, he had a birth-defect.) I said sure, why not, he seems to be nice. He only had one friend, and that one friend I wouldn't say was a good one. So wanted me to tell her everything that happened, I didn't what to tell her,…

My favorite part of middle school was how close our crazy class was. Everyone was friends with everyone and we all hung out together. Everyone still had their “best friends”, little groups within our class. These kids were with each other more than with other friends, but the class as a whole was still very close. We all went crazy when someone was about to have a birthday because that meant birthday party. I don't know how we had so much fun at these but we did. Playing hide and seek and spin the bottle seemed to be the best ingredients for a party that would be talked about on Monday.…
