This was the most contested battle for the subject because California passing it would mean that a ton of smaller states would likely follow in their footsteps. The bill faced major opposition against Johnson and Johnson, and Proctor and Gamble. Their opposition caused two amendments to the bill to be deleted but fortunately it still passed and we should see some improvement in the future.
