"This is Galileo Galilei, a.k.a. Double-G. Mama mia!"
Live from the Tower of Pisa,
Grab a piece of pizza, the 17th century feature
Is Galileo Galilei, a scientist
Who questioned everything the church had to say.
Like, "Well, how’s about gravity,
Do you think a heavy object will fall rapidly?"
Naturally, Galileo wanted proof,
He used experiments to obtain the truth.
"So if I drop these cannonballs at the same time,
They’ll fall at the same time. Arrivederci!"
And now he’s holding two cannonballs,
Dropped from the top, and both of them should plan to fall
At the same moment, though one was heavier.
BOOM! Proof gravity’s constant;
Get ready for a revolution, but the Church wouldn’t listen,
And later he was locked up by the Inquisition.
That’s what could happen when you make a commitment,
The scientific method to the madness, what is it?
The scientific method
Starts out when you ask a question.
The hypothesis is the second step,
Then you test it.
That’s what an experiment is, of course.
Analyzing the results is the fourth.
Have we reached a conclusion?
Do we need more support?
That’s the fifth step, yep,
We’ve been waiting.
The sixth step: take our results,
Communicate them.
But shall we dig further?
Ask good questions to be a good observer.
In this case, it was weight: does it influence
The rate that an object falls? Well, we can prove it ("How?"),
By forming a hypothesis,
An educated guess, or what our thought process is.
If gravity is constant,
Then everything will fall at the same rate — Accomplished.
A controlled experiment was conducted,
With only one factor that we adjusted — Bust it.
It was the weight of the cannonball,
That was the variable that we can control.
Another type is a double-blind test,
Even the researchers don’t know which is which.
A control group of people is given a placebo,
And that’s a fake pill they take to see what we know.

They are two shows about rich women with lots of money some how, and lots of drama. And that’s what makes the shows. The drama and the money and last but not least the people in them.…

MINATA Sow FALL 'S NOVEL, The Beggars ' Strike. is an account of a fictional strike in a West African Society. In this story state bureaucrats, who think beggars discourage tourism from the West, decide to rid the city of begging. The policy is implemented through police tactics of harassment, physical abuse, and imprisonment of beggars. This unbearable situation prompts the beggars to organize a strike in which they refuse to return to the city streets to receive donations. The novel portrays the beggars as an integral part ofthe society 's social structure, and their removal creates profound disruptions in people 's everyday lives. Fall 's novel constructs a paradigmatic framework to help the reader understand how begging fits into West African society.! This view is particularly informative for Western readers who may believe that begging is marginal or dysfunctional. In this paper I outline the two…

Indigenous comes from the place itself. It means that someone or something is native to its originating place. Although there are a variety of scientific methods used in researching a topic, indigenous methods happen to be used in the cultural perspective. In the Ua Lele Ka Manu reading, researchers including Pauline Chinn and Isabella Abbott, characterized indigenous inquiry into four elements: 1) indigenous sense of place, 2) caring (malama) for places, 3) kuleana, a responsibility or privilege, or a method of learning and respect, and 4) asking questions in an appropriate manner. In addition to these four elements, they all conclude to re-establish Malama I Ka ‘Aina (“caring for the land”), sustainability, and the scientific applications…

In the novel, The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the main protagonist Jay Gatsby is presented as being great in several senses, such as being a romantic, the way he is perceived, his potential, this greatness is only limited to an extent. This limitation of greatness is due to his pursuit of a distorted American Dream, and this is the central idea of the novel. For Gatsby, the American Dream is the love of Daisy Buchanan, a woman whom Gatsby has perceived with an idealistic image of the perfect trophy wife, an image which Daisy neither possesses nor deserves. In the novel, the greatness (and limitations of that greatness) of Gatsby is developed through how Fitzgerald comments on the American Dream, using the character of Gatsby to develop his core themes.…
