Supplying to Wal-Mart
Considering the market position of the company, as far as supply of the innovative kickstands is concerned, I would consider applying to be one of Wal-Mart’s suppliers. As a move to improve the company’s market share and utilization of the company’s excess capacity, contacting Wal-Mart would be an effective move. Research reveals that choosing to supply via Wal-Mart will improve the company’s current distribution process. Apart from benefits of utilizing the company’s idle manufacturing capacity, there will be instant access to the world’s largest global retailing network through Wal-Mart. The company will benefit from increased sales capacity, as Wal-Mart’s inevitably efficient operation will mean exponential increase in sales volume. Besides, research reveals that suppliers who seek to utilize Wal-Mart’s wide market derive benefits from a strengthened market position (Perry & Bloom, 2001). Therefore, to position the company to take up advantage of the association, I will consider applying to become a Wal-Mart supplier.

Every successful organization uses the five management functions; but not many can compare with the United States Armed Forces. I am currently serving in the U.S. Army and this organization has effectively applied the five management functions, because its existence depends on those five functions. They Army is constantly engaging in the five management functions; their operations are well led, organized, carefully planned, staffed, and constantly evaluated. I do not believe there is any organization other than the military where you would see these five functions linking so well coordinated.…

To communicate the information effectively from the Vice President of Communications to the team, an appropriate channel would be a face-to-face conversation. The client is new to the company and in a meeting the team will be able to discuss the parameters, deadlines, and the client. The meeting ensures the team is aware of the client’s criteria. “Face to face conversation scores the highest in channel richness because it transmits the most information” (Robbins & Judge, 2011). The appropriate channel to communicate back to the vice president can be an electronic email. The e-mail can use bullet points to sum up the team meeting, direction and goals. The vice president will be able to send check in emails at different points during the follow-up on the strategy. “E-mail messages can be quickly written, edited and stored” (Robbins & Judge, 2011). At some point or another in adulthood we are all forced to make decisions that may alter or effect the way we live our lives. Sometimes these decisions are positive other times they are negative. Thought and planning are two of the most important factors that will help determine how things will turn out. I recently was faced with the dilemma of leaving my apartment which my son and I have lived for the past ten years and the two of us moving to a new area and new apartment with my boyfriend. This decision was very difficult for me and required a lot of thinking, time, and tons of both wanted and unwanted advice.…

Walmart is a giant American retail store that is also considered to be the largest in the world. The store operates numerous international subsidiaries outside the USA, with some of the subsidiaries operating under different brand names (Finne & Sivonen 2009 p. 89). Walmart’s operations have been divided into departments, a total of thirty-five in number, each of which deals with goods and products that are closely related in terms of their use. With thousands of product brands stocked by the retailer, both locally manufactured and imported ones, there is no better way to perfectly deal with planning and efficient operations other than placing similar goods from different manufacturers under the same group. In my stint as an employee at Walmart, I have particularly served as a shop floor attendant in the Back to School department, which mainly seeks to serve millions of parents and their children, together with schools, learning institutions in general, and their members of staff.…
