    Communication is essential for people to share information there are eight essential steps to this process they are; Sender, encoding, message, channel, receiver, decode the message, noise and feedback. Having reviewed the Sea Pines case study which focuses on the seventh step in the communication process namely noise or barriers to communication there were two major barriers to effective communication identified.
