How does being decisive help, or hurt, conflict resolution? Should every decision be solely made by the manager? How should a manager handle criticism of his/her decisions by followers? There is nothing more annoying than a manager who can’t make a decision. If you don’t like making decisions or you feel you aren’t any good at it, you will disappoint a lot of people. On the other hand, it is preventable. Being decisive isn’t about making the right decision, it’s about making a decision. It’s about putting yourself in the driver’s seat of the car, you may decide to turn a different way later, but for now, you control the wheel and you choose where the car goes. Developing real conflict resolution skill sets are a crucial part of a building a maintainable business model. Unsettled conflict frequently results in a loss of production, represses creativeness, and creates obstacles to teamwork, most importantly for leaders, good conflict resolution skills equals’ good employee retention. Leaders who don’t deal with conflict will eventually watch their good talent walk out the door in search of a healthier and safer work environment. Decisions should be made solely or primarily by considering one's duties and the rights of others? The principle of management is making decisions. Managers are always required to evaluate alternatives and make decisions concerning a wide range of matters. Just as there are different managerial styles, there are different decision-making styles. Decision making involves confidence and threats. Decision makers have variable degrees of risk. Decision making also involves qualitative and measureable analyses, and some decision makers choose one form of analysis over the other. Decision making can be affected not only by rational judgment, but also by non-rational factors such as the personality of the decision maker, peer…

One of the main things is that woman in Africa are the back bone to the families and communities in general. Women are the ones that make all the decision and do the agricultural work. As we could say it, they are the ones that keep society going. There are many strengths in this income is coming in because of the agricultural and families are healthier for that. The author states, “When women are fully involved, the benefits can be seen immediately: Families are healthier; they are better fed; their income, savings, and reinvestments go up (Annan 307). But the same way we can see there are strengths, there is also a weakness. Most of the people that get affected by AIDS and H.I.V. are women. The author states, “ A United Nations report released last month shows that women now make up 50 percent of those infected with H.I.V. worldwide- and in Africa that figure is now 59 percent (Annan 307). By Md. Faruk Hossain (Faruk) Dear reader, there are many kinds of writings, many kinds of posts, that depict different kinds of tips, suggestions, etc. But I will try here to post something different, because there are really something differences to write. Actually sometimes there exist lots of geniuses in our invisibility, but we don't know well about them though we did hear a little or knew the names of them. Today I will write about one of the best Management Genii of all time, who is Peter F. Drucker! It might keep you all in a feeling that I am trying to make you all to read management books, but Good News is that, it is not. It will be tried here to make you know because we really should know about Drucker! And if you don't believe that, then the proof will undoubtly knock you at the end of reading this post. Anyway, is this the time to start now? Well we can move on! I am not actually writing Drucker's born city, time, parents name, etc. I just would like to write why he is important for us, especially for business background students, because that should create more appeal. Drucker is actually much popular for his renowned book "The Practice of Management" (1954), though the world first looked at him through his "The End of Economic Man" (1939) book. The Practice of Management created some different expressions because he really put some different things there. This is a lively and forceful book. It proclaims that the manager is the dynamic, life-giving element in every business. It emphasizes the fact that management is…
