Enamoured by the Internet and frustrated by how hard it was to travel in India he opened MakeMyTrip.com. Created to empower the Indian traveller with instant booking and comprehensive choices, the company began its journey in the US-India travel market. It aimed to offer a range of best-value products and services along with cutting-edge technology and dedicated round-the-clock customer support.
After positioning itself as customer oriented and reliable brand in India, MakeMyTrip started their operations in USA in 2005. The company was listed on NASDAQ and was a great success from the very beginning. By September,2010 they were able to reach the mark of 1 billion$ in total value.
