Love and Man
If I could have the perfect man, who would it be? How would he act? What would he look like? The man of my dreams is looked upon his individuality, interests, and physical characteristics.

A man's individuality brings out the character inside of him. He has to have the confidence to do every thing he really wants that sets his adrenaline flowing. He should be a colourful person, which I must say includes his downsides. It would be disliked by me if he would solely talk about himself or if he lacked great sensitivity. A man who turns my dark sides of life into shinny brightness would be a man I seek. My greatest necessity has always been a hygienic environment. I have been fond by men who keep clean, ones who live their lifestyles that suit any humankind unlike animals. My ideal mate would be one who can carry himself with dignity, someone whom the world can look and be in awe of. Therefore, I would like to meet the man of my dreams whose personality reflects through his greatness for others.

Interests are what a man needs to live, without it he wouldn't be able to survive. I want him to be interested in everything I do, even if he despises them. He should be able to make me laugh at times when I am depressed. Moreover, I would prefer a bunch of cherry red roses from time to time. I would adore it if he could take care of me like a mother who takes care of her baby. He should be madly in love with me because I would not have it any other way. I am totally romantic at heart, so naturally; my ideal mate better be well versed in the art of romance. Not flirting, but romance, and there is quite a difference. I admire dignity. It is rare and priceless in a world that is so taken over by images and put-ons. My partner would be very intelligent. I prefer a person who resolves my problems everyday: a person I can learn something from. We may not share too many things in common, but we should have a common basic principle by which we lead our lives. However, men may have

Chivalry is not dead, the definition, as well as societal norms, have merely changed over time. Over the last decade, hook-up culture as well as technology have all played a vital role in why chivalry has changed so drastically. To quote Afnan Beauti, “Chivalry is simply an act of kindness toward a person who is deserving (or not) of receiving that kindness” (Beauti). This quote, however, contradicts the Merriam Webster definition that explains chivalry as, “the medieval knightly system with its religious, moral, and social code,” let me explain. The definition does mention the “social code,” but times have changed so much from a “knightly system,” into the much less intense internet dating generation; where appearance is everyone’s biggest…

There are many types of men in the world, and each type displays a variety of distinguishable characteristics. Women should become aware of these characteristics before considering a prospective mate. The smallest of personal details, from where and how they met (including the first date), the way he walks and talks, the clothes he wears, the career choice he's made, the vacation spots he frequents, or the automobile he drives can offer valuable, meaningful, insightful clues to whether or not a man will ever settle down with anyone. There are two main types of men in the world: the committer and the non-committer.…

The very nature of a man cannot solely be seen through his actions alone or how society perceives him. What makes up the true essence of a person is much deeper and much more complex than this. We can only have an idea of a person’s character based on his actions but this is only just a fraction of who he really is as a person.…

    Choosing a Mate

When it comes to men and selecting a mate, I have noticed that many men, along with myself look for specific traits when choosing a woman to be our mate. In my experience I look for a few things as do many men, the main things that we look for are: easy going personality (sense of humor, not controlling), depending on who you are height for some men they like short girls, but for me being taller I like taller women. Also we want someone who we feel is attractive physically, because no matter how many people say looks are not important, they are. I look for a girl who has similar interests as myself, for example must be a sports fan and athletic, also intelligence is a very large plus, being in good shape, smart, and a good head on their shoulders is the type of person I see myself being with. These things are important because physical health compliments mental health which if both are good it makes for a stable partner, and the fact of her being intelligent makes it much more enticing because it allows for the chance for intellectual conversations to give each person a better knowledge of one another.…

The most important to me is that he is a Christian, respectful, and humble. The traits that can help support our family would be: supportive, relaxed, ambitious, and thoughtful. These can make life a lot easier when it comes to nurturing children and having a healthy relationship. Additionally, I’d love for him to be confident, humble, honest, daring, and playful. These could lead to a spontaneous, fun relationship, which is very important to me.…

As I began watching this film, it starts off with Jodie Foster who plays Clarice Starling climbing a rope up a hill. Clarice is smart, she is strong, and she is most likely a very talented member of the law enforcement. As she is running, we are informed as viewers that Special Agent Crawford would like to speak to her. She’s given the task to interview and pass a survey to incarcerated serial killer. A simple task to do and it seems simple enough, but there is only one serial killer left to interview and you guessed it, it is Dr. Hannibal Lecter.…

Certainly the term 'family' has raised various debates in the modern society and as evident from the study of different cultures, there is now no clear taxonomy of a family unit. From a functionalists point of view, it is a unit of people bound together either biologically or by legal marriage. To support this theory, Murdock defines it as a group consisting of a sexually active heterosexual couple living with their biological or adopted children.(Haralambos M & Langley P).…

According to the ideal mate theory, attraction is based on an individual’s unconscious perspective of the ideal mate formed from his/her perception. After reviewing my father’s answer to my research questions, I have come to conclude that this theory did not have any involvement or relation during my father’s mate selection process. This perception of an “ideal mate” comes from positive experiences with other individuals. At this time my father did not consider who an ideal mate would be, rather he was hoping to find a…
