Long Haul Truck Drivers Case Study
Long haul truck drivers are suffering from heart attacks due to their work life style. Drivers physical health are at a high risk of having a heart attack. Compared to a stroke where the brain is being target with low blood flow heart attacks occur when the arteries connected to the heart are clogged, restricting the blood and oxygen to the heart. This effect cases muscles in the heart to start dying, and this is when the heart attack occurs. It takes many years for these arteries that supply the heart to become clogged with excessive fat. With the high percentage of long haul truck drivers being diagnose with obesity making them prone to suffer from a heart attack. Drivers in the trucking industries are spending a large amount of time
