He is one of the local Malay designers who is part of the design firm named Emobility, he mainly caters startegy for his types of design that are mainly on 'mobility', like cars, skateboards, etc.
He designed this 'skateboard' mainly to target on young children age between 6 - 12 years of age, from the outlook of the design it meant for them. However, it's design it an alternative to the mainstream skateboard, and it has only have 2 wheels compared to 4 on a skateboard, and its design gives a futuristic feel and experience to the user.
A Singapore-born designer who leads a design team, called 'NextOfKin' Creatives, catering to products, identity and strategy. He was formerly based in Hong Kong as a lead designer for Philips Design where he was heavily involved with the China mobile communications group. Rodney has won numerous international awards including IF Award, Good Design Award, Red Dot Design Award and Hong Kong Designed for Asia Award.

He touches on ergonomics and user-friendly on his design of his Water Dispenser, he also likes simplicity in his design to give a smooth look to it.
