Lime Springs: A Short Story
On 1976 in a small town called Lime Springs, IA. A man was walking by the Lidtke Mill. He was old, pretty tall not too tall, had a short beard, looked mean. He always wore the same clothes everyday, but if he was lucky he would stand outside of the thrift shop and get a pair of old jeans and a torn shirt.
One day this nice short old lady, driving by the Lidtke Mill in a 1972 Convertible Chevelle, offered him some nice warm soup. The old man didn’t want this old lady's soup, but he knew if he didn’t eat something he would starve to death. The kind old lady came back after 30 minutes and gave him chicken noodle soup for the old man’s cold. The lady asked him his name. The old man didn’t have a birth name, but he called himself Leo. Leo didn’t really care what the old lady’s name was, but he asked anyways. She told him more than what he wanted to know, but one thing stood out which was that her family was royal. She said she was from Ireland, but she didn’t care for all of the attention. So she moved to Lime Springs for a nice break from all the craziness in Ireland.

She new she didn’t have long till she died. Glados woke up to a loud noise coming from the other building that was next to her. She screamed and yelled help me please! A man that wasn’t Leo walked into the cell. She was scared out of her mind, but the man told her to calm down that he was going to help her. The man took the barbwire fence off of her wrist and untied the rope. He helped her up and walked her to his car. He took her straight to the hospital. She had 18 stitches in her stomach and 6 on each wrist. She describe the old man as old, dirty, not to tall, looked really mean, wore torn shirts and pants. Also he always walked by the Lidtke Mill. The police asked what the old man called himself she said
