LG Electronics will be creating and promoting a new product called the DigiCase. Overall, 84% of U.S. households own a computer, and 73% of U.S. households have a computer with a broadband connection to the internet (aka a laptop). Despite the rising popularity of smartphones and other mobile devices to access the internet, relatively few people rely exclusively on these devices for access to the internet, less than 6 million households. Most of the time buying and owning a laptop in particular is an investment, as they don’t come cheap. To protect this investment it is common for consumers to use a protective outer case. The younger generation however, does not particularly like the look of these bulky, bland cases. Instead,

Our goal is to lead consumers to our website through the online and social media advertising, as well as various advertising, marketing, and PR campaigns. There is no need to create a brand new website, but it is imperative to have the DigiCase as the front webpage for the website. This way, when consumers get to the website out of interest, it is right in front of them and they don’t have to go looking around for it. The more they have to search for it, the easier it is for them to lose interest. To ensure that our product gets a lot of visibility on the web, we plan to hire a search engine optimization company to ensure that the LG website appears high in web search results. To increase traffic to a website, it is imperative to create witty and easily understood headlines and content. The headline must be clear, to the point and interesting enough to encourage the consumer to keep reading, thus leading them to the website. It’s helpful to pinpoint certain niche target audiences, like the tech savvy college kid, because it will make driving traffic a more specific goal. It is also important to create shareable content. When advertisements are posted online, we must make sure that the links attached are easily accessible and connect the consumer to the LG website quickly and swiftly. If the content is not web-friendly from the start, it will not help us in increasing traffic to the LG website. In order to track the amount of traffic to the website, we will invest in an analytics software. Through this we will track our goal by viewing visits to the site per day and the amount of clicks on the

I have designed my own website and my aim was to meet the requirements that my users need and desire from a health and beauty business. The specific purpose for my site is to promote my ethical made produce while keeping people happy and giving them what they want and expect. Furthermore, the purpose for my site is to give my customers a sense of my brands personality and to hopefully retain them my users and continue to grow though e-commerce. Its purpose is to inform people of “who I am” and “what we do” and provide my customers with efficiency while saving time on my part and increasing my customer base. I am defining my website to 14 – 35 year olds who have an interest in keeping healthy and looking nice while still being ethical and beneficial to the environment. My products range from hair, skin, nails, make-up, music, candles and many more, so whoever is interested in these, I will be defining my website to them. On my website I have six webpages (with links to others) and these include a homepage, transaction page, enquiry/chat help page, review/customer feedback page, our story page, our products page and an additional “find us” page and “our philosophy” page. I have thought about how I am going about retaining customer and encouraging repeat visits by inserting certain aspects, for example, a product on sale. I have thought about how I will build trust from my site and I have added a chat help page so customers can ask questions and present enquiries. I also have thought about celebrity promotion and how someone who people trust, trusting a brand can help users to build trust and confidence.…
