Letter To The Vampire Persuasive Letter
Dear Bella Swan,
I am sorry to hear that you got injured recently! I hope you get well soon. I still can’t totally believe what you told me. You’re dating a vampire! And that vampire saved you from another vampire who attacked you….It was a little disappointing to find out that your vampire, Edward Cullen, doesn’t exactly turn into a bat or sleep in a coffin, but I guess that being able to read peoples’ minds will have to do. How does he resist being your personal mosquito? Sorry, you must not want to really want to talk about how appetizing you must be to him. The main purpose of this letter is to ensure that you are feeling better about the incident with the hunter James. He supposedly tried to…drink your blood?!? I hope that you are okay. It was lucky that Carlisle, Edward, and Alice arrived in time to save you. But you still probably don’t feel that well. I hope you get better soon!

Here’s what you have told me so far: You went to Forks with the lowest of expectations, not particularly excited about the small town or eager to live in it. You had made a few friends when low and behold, Edward walked right into your life. You had “chemistry” with him  and were seated next to him when he started acting weird. He acted angry and barely talked to you. But then some days he would talk to you. Thanks to Jacob, a good friend, you found out that he was a vampire. That’s why he was acting weird, wasn’t it? You told me that you started to like him…and then fall in love with him! He loved you too…but you were special. He couldn’t read your mind, but he also craved your blood more than other peoples’. He never hurt you though. In fact, from what I’ve heard, he saved your life many times! Even though that is true, you must be more careful Bella! You just got attacked by James! Edward is a vampire, for goodness’s sake! Awesome, but

(Franiuk and Scherr 19). The female characters in The Vampire Diaries are magically enamored to the vampires, due to their stereotypical masculine portrayal. The beginning of the human/vampire relationship is connected to masculine depictions by the male vampires. Stefan, for example, demonstrates his skills on the football pitch before Elena and he get together (20). Elena is a down to earth girl with brunette hair and although she is popular at school and has some admirer, she does not present herself as arrogant. It is quite the contrary, she is being “caring, mature, and concerned about her drug-taking brotheroften playing the caregiver role with him in place of their dead parents” (Thurber 69).…

Jacob and Edward are not trying to harm Bella in anyway but simply trying to protect her. One of the main things that Bella noticed that she knew Edward was not going to harm her was when she was nearly ran over by a classmate’s van and Edward swarmed in and pushed the van with his bare hands (Taylor, Web). After realizing that Edward will not hurt her, she finds comfort in him. Jacob tries to still warn Bella that she needs to be careful because Edward may not be like that, but it does not mean that the others won’t be.…

This is Jack Merridew. It has been many years since we last saw each other, and so much has happened since then. I’m sure you’re a very different person now, as am I. I am not that same boy you knew, fifteen years can really change a person. Ten years ago, you sent me a letter blaming me for Simon and Piggy’s deaths, and everything else that happened on the island. I didn’t respond back then because I was in the Seminary and was trying to worship god and put all that happened on the island behind me. I’m writing you this letter now because I am about to become a priest and I feel that I need to clear things up as a last act before I start my new life. This way I can start out with a clean slate.…

Since the eighteen century, vampire stories have played a strong role of popularity in literature and cinematic environments. The continuous changes of vampires have taken the vampire legend from something feared to something desired. Between Dracula and Twilight it has been over a hundred years. These two novels are a great example of vampire’s evolution. However, both novels have elements of narrative device, they are both written from multiple perspectives, and both were turned into a film. Although Twilight and Dracula are pieces of literature that share a vampire story, there are three important differences that characterize each one.…

Modern society is really intrigued by horrific sights and vampires are being used to portray the same effect to the audience. An example of a text that has used the concepts of vampires is “Dracula: by Bram Stroker”. He portrays Dracula, the vampire, as intelligent, strong and cunning. He is said to live in an isolated castle which is gloomy and dull, and whoever steps foot in there feels like a prisoner. He is described to have a thin nose and arched nostrils. He has “hair growing scantily round the temples but profusely everywhere” and also has hair growing out of his palm. He has large eyebrows and bushy hair that curls. His moustache is “heavy” and has “peculiarly sharp white teeth” and appears to be “rather cruel-looking”. His chin is broad and cheeks are firm and thin, however, the “effect was one of the extraordinary pallor”. He does not eat or drink, and also, he does not have a reflection. The overall appearance and attributes associated with Dracula are the typical beliefs and superstitions made by…

If Twilight is a vampire story with the sex removed, it is also a vampire story with the violence removed. Though violence does occur, in the books it is told at a remove: Bella is always being told about what happened, not actually seeing it and experiencing it for herself, because, of course, girls are far too delicate for anything bloody and dangerous and painful. This is particularly noticeable in the books, because the two movies so far have done the best they could at showing the violence which is only alluded to in the books. Of course, this is made possible because the movies aren’t so tightly focused on Bella’s point of view and can show us things she…

I knew that “Twilight” will be my favorite movie when I saw it I was completely in love with the movie. The film is based on a novel “Twilight” written by Stephen Mayer and there are 3 more parts of book,” New Moon”, “Eclipse” and “Breaking Dawn”. I read them all of course and those are my favorite books. The movie is about a teenage girl Bella and her boyfriend Edward. Edward is a vampire. It’s a beautiful love story like no other: completely different. I’m sure that there will never be a story like this. That’s something what every girl dreams about, a perfect boyfriend who would do anything for her. And I think that the fact that he’s a vampire is so cool. But I don’t like this movie just because it’s a love story, I like it because of Edward. I already said that I love the fact that Edward is a vampire. Il like his superhuman powers. He can read other peoples mind, he’s cold, he can run fast, he’s so strong. I would like to have all of that. But it’s a love story, love story between a girl and a vampire. That’s the sweetest thing.…

Summer going into college, I met a boy — so begins every hopeless love story. The more I got to know him, the more I liked him. The more I liked him, the more I wanted to spend time with him. Fortunately, he felt the same way about me times 50. He was going through a rough patch in his life, and because I have a thing for damaged goods (they make me feel less crazy), I look like the beacon of light in a dark rough, sea of isolation. He offered his heart to me on a silver platter. Everything he could do for me, he would. I was his princess, which was something I had never experienced.…
