Law 421 Week 1 Reflection Journal
Reflective journal (week three)

Week three was the day of ‘micro-teach’. I don’t know about any one else, but I was getting a bit nervous, because I had never done any thing like that before, or I had than I don’t remember. As again, I arrive on time, a little bit earlier, so got enough time to re-prepare my self for the exam. The instructor was there already, than afterwards all the other participants arrive at there own times, but two were missing Sajida Nisa and Ambreen.

Every body seems to be little bit anxious and worried, but this was the day of test. We all have been assigned serial numbers to our lectures. I had to come at number three. Then came the first knight Mr, Johnson, he looks like an old, experienced and knowledgeable

So I downloaded some new pictures regarding my subject and topic that day. My topic was ‘Computer Hardware’. My idea was to tell the peers about the back ground work of the machine. Because every body knows and I also do believe that inside of the computer is completely different than the out side, it is more complex and interesting. My emphasis was the introduction to the hardened parts of the computer which are found inside the machine, but more of that I concentrated on Hard Disc, its structure functioning, make, different parts, caring, structure, etc. the lecture did really very fine, done some of the activities also, first I asked the students to please give a feed back about there own knowledge about the hard disk, what they know? What do they want to know? What have they learned? All of them wrote down what they know and wanted to learn as well as what they learned. The slides went really very well, and with the basic knowledge of the equipment, every thing went fine, second activity was about the marking of the hard disk parts, on the simple paper with the picture of the hard disc. All the participants did some of the markings. In the end the lecture went fine, but I did took little bit more time to finish. The trainer was very happy with the lecture; she gave some remarks also, about how to …show more content…

The article was a proposal that tried to justify the reason that congress should repeal the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX Act) of 2002. The act is seen as a problem because individual felt that the act was only put in place so government official could feel better about addressing some issues of popular concern rather than resolving the issue. According to Niskanen the SOX act of 2002 is unnecessary, harmful, and inadequate (2006). Punishments under this act included jail time and loss of personal property.…

With the rapid growth of e-business it is no small wonder why businesses today are taking advantage of the online market. The overall convenience and lack of complexity with buying products and services online has converted most of the public to shopping via the internet. Any business that sells a service or product must strongly consider the fact that being without a website or means for the public to shop online will only hinder the business’ profits and any chance for future development. Many small businesses are realizing first hand that the lack of e-business will ultimately make their companies obsolete.…

This article that I read over a few times focuses in on the what patents are and more specifically how they impact e-business as well as intellectual property. Understanding the concept of patents before deciding to open a business for example, is essential if you want to succeed. Patents unfortunately are only going to protect your business in the country in which you are located. Although if you have a business spread over multiple countries, you are giving yourself a larger scale of protection to your intellectual property. Therefore, e-business owners and corporate business workers have to decide where they would like to conduct business.…

In a silent room, with limited desks of grey; you sit among others, anxiously waiting, as the constant sound of ticking warns you the time of testing is near. The person beside you, rapidly taps the end of his pencil, and bites his nails. You begin to sweat uncontrollably, fearing you would bomb this assessment. The pressure is on. As you try to reassure yourself, you raise your head acknowledging a joyful girl walks in and takes her seat. She glows of confidence, and wears bright color. Her eyes sparkle with ambition, and a beautiful smile is created upon her lips. Suddenly, a certain ease, germs in this awkward environment of stressed students. Her simple self happiness, brought the others to their own confident state. The time has come, pencils are at the ready. And you are no longer nervous, as you begin to write.…

Today is 13th September. I just finished my speaking test for the final exam. All that I can conclude from the test is I need to improve my English proficiency. I was in the same group with my class rep, Iskandar Azlan, Alia Md Lani and one of the best speaker in my class, Aishah Ismail. At first, when I assigned to be in their group, I was very nervous. Aishah is the best speaker as she does not even need any text if she is doing the presentation. She got a lot of ideas and can talk spontaneously. Before this, my faculty held a MUET workshop and it is compulsory for all the students to attend the workshop. The saddest part is the workshop was held during the weekend. I felt quite frustrated as I thought that I might lose my weekend. But after being in the workshop for two days, I think that it is worth it to lose my weekend. The workshop was really beneficial and I got a lot of input from it. I learned how to write an essay, to answer the reading part and many tips on how to sit the speaking test. Two weeks ago, the first semester for the degree students has started. A great deal of them came and registered at my college. Dataran cendekia, Mawar’s food court has been occupied with degree students. It was quite difficult for us to buy food there. There were so many people at the food court and we have to queue up to buy food.…

September 27, 2012, 5:00 in the afternoon, the proponents Pictures in Motion will face the panelists. Before the time has come, the proponents come to the university early for preparation. They went to the tarpaulin printing shop for their 3” by 3” tarpaulin. The proponents have six hours left so they check for their power point presentation. The feeling that can’t explain whether it is nervousness, hungriness or just nothing, is in the proponents. Staying inside the simulation room, near the conference room where the proponents will defend the project feasibility study, is a big pressure. Everytime there is a group inside the conference room defending their study and many errors are noticed and those errors are also in our study, we always want to change it. But how? The papers are inside the conference room. Two hours left, still there is the feeling that can’t explain. The proponents decided to have their haircut (hoping that we will be calm). While inside the salon, we are hoping that we will not be trashed or atleast our study will be feasible enough in the eyes of the panelists especially Dean Yu who is very strict when it comes to financial aspect (the most crucial part for the proponents). The time has come. We are going to defend our proposed business, Pictures in Motion, a mobile photography studio. Everyone of the proponents is nervous. We first discussed what is on our PowerPoint presentation and after that is the question and answer portion infront of the panelists. The proponents really appreciate the suggestions and comments of the panelists. The feelings that can’t be explained are now being explained. The feelings of happiness are expressed in the proponents’ faces. The proponents will revised the study based on the suggestions and comments of the panelists. After the question and answer, we realized the errors that we made in our study. It’s like the torn is eliminated. The happiness that this feasibility study is over is now can…
