Types and benefits of Laser Skin Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing is a procedure of skin resurfacing that makes the use of laser for treating minor flaws on your face or to enhance the skin appearance. It is usually done with two kinds of laser. One is ablative or wounding laser that eliminates thin skin layers and the other being a non-ablative or non-wounding laser that boosts the growth of collagen and tightens up the underlying skin. Non-ablative laser resurfacing being less invasive requires little time for recovery. However it is not as effective as ablative laser resurfacing.
The Carbon dioxide laser is the widely used kind of laser that is used for resurfacing along with Erbium lasers.
