mainly consists on finding best layouts for a set of irregular shapes within large leather hides with irregular contours, which may consists of holes and quality zones. In this article the main aim is to contribute to the efficient resolution of the problem by exploring many different constructive procedures.
This Leather Nesting Problem consists of is a 2-dimensional cutting stock problem which is finding the best layouts in a set of irregular shapes in the boundaries of natural leather hides, whose contour is irregular. The natural leather hide may have holes and also zones with different quality levels. The surfaces of the leather hides can be very heterogeneous. The First laser was developed in the 1970's. A laser beam is generated in a glass tube with one side having perfect mirror and and the other having semi reflecting mirror. One of the mirrors is full reflective, and the other reflective 70% . The laser gas can be a mixture of He, CO2 and N2. This mixture of laser gas is commonly known as a CO2 laser. There are several lasing gas mixtures available and in use but, for high powered industrial lasers, the CO2 mixture is used. An external power source such as electrical power excites the atoms in the laser gas mixture. When the atoms becomes excited, it goes to the meta stablestate and it gives off a photon of light.
